Its hardly the worlds biggest secret that its probably the areas most well known dogging location. South wales police and every other tom dick and harry also know that. Dont see why folk get stressy about naming it. Yes there are quieter spots to keep stuum over. |

Are the police still interested in closing down dogging sites??
Thought they would have too much else on with high crime rates, violence, gangs of chavs roaming the streets and all you hear about the police is how they have an impossible job to do & the number of police on the streets is constantly being cut.
So, are they still clapping down on dogging??
At the end of the day it is just a group meeting of consenting adults meeting up for a get together & having sex.
Not exactly the crime of the century. |

Police should only take planned enforcement action at Castle Coch if they have a written complaint from someone. But that doesn't stop patrolling cops from turning up on spec and having a look.
Mostly, I think they are going there to harass people and have a pervy look.
Out of interest, is there anyone here that's ever been prosecuted for public sex? I imagine that in reality, a prosecution would be extremely rare. |

A full on Court prosecution may be rare but getting charged is not something to be taken lightly. You’re in danger of losing your job, it showing up on CRB checks (job dependent obviously) and may be put on the sex offenders register. Plus you may appear in the local “who’s in court for what” section of the local paper and may feature on the Police website as an example of how they carried out their duty protecting the public.
Or not.
But is it worth the risk? After all, Castle Coch is visited by families. If someone reports you for indecency, or videos you, takes a pic etc, then it’s not really going to sit well is it.
The Police won’t hang around waiting for a written complaint. They won’t turn up for a look or a wank either, what if someone was recording? They’d lose their jobs and their pension.
There’s a big difference between porn scenarios and real life.

I understand that, I'm not talking about people dogging in the middle of the day. I'm sure that would result in both complaints and action promptly taken by any cop who turned up.
What I was talking about is dogging after dark. When the marked police car turns up, you can bet they haven't been tasked with going there, they are hoping for a sneaky peak. And no, I don't think that they'd watch and wank, but they do hope to catch you at it for a cheeky thrill.
The proof of the pudding will be in the eating. Is there anybody reading this that has first hand, personal knowledge of a person being arrested for pubic sex in a dark car park? |
