I've just seen a post on Facebook from the Angel Hotel in Cardiff.

They have said if any women or girls feels intimadated or scared when out, their reception is open 24/7 and they will help you get home safely.

I know we aren't allowed at the moment, but worth remembering for when we are.

I agree

It seems to me that only women feel threatened. I know that some guys feel the same

I imagine the hotel probably made that offer because of recent events and the conversation about women’s safety. Can’t it just be taken at face value rather than being turned into a debate?

I'm sure they would be helpful to anyone who needed it. I just copied the message they put on Facebook as information.

I’m sure the hotel would do exactly the same for any gender if someone felt unsafe.

Well done Angel hotel for putting it out there that it’s a safe place to go I’m sure it will be positively revived by those that have felt unsafe in our capital.

To echo other comments I’m sure they’d make it open to anyone who needed to feel safe. Good on them I say
