Hehe!
Good solid first half performance from Wales
Italy making a strong case for relegation - or at least a playoff against the winners of the Rugby Europe competition (prob Georgia, but Russia, Spain, Portugal might still fancy their chances against Italy atm) |

"We need to kick on in the 2nd half
Put them to the sword
If France lose to England and we lose to France, it could all come down to points difference "
For sure
2nd half: try no 1 after 2 mins...! |

Wales vs France should be good
.....and meanwhile, England vs France: not going to try to predict that one...!"

Regardless of all the possibilities, quite simply if we can’t beat France then we don’t deserve the championship. I’m confident we will for our first away GS since 1971! |

"Job done today nothing much can be taken from Italy as opposition but no injuries is always good, France are very beatable but we have to be at our best to take the Slam! "
Agree with this; the lack of injuries is excellent; and France do look beatable. |

"Okay no sitting on the fence!
Who will win next Saturday and why?
Wales for me as they are more of a team, squad, bench has impressed me this campaign. "
Wales (something I really didn’t think I’d say a couple of months ago)
They’ve got a good team, playing *as* a team, with no yellow/red cards for a number of games, and strength off the bench |

France, they're at home and will bust us up with their pack and have superior half backs.
Hopefully I continue my terrible run of predictions |

I'd be terrified if you predicted us to win tbh |

France are very impressive but I think that Wales have the option to change the style of play by using the bench. Wayne has got to get the tactics right to mastermind a win. If he does and each player delivers a game winning performance, we could get the result. |

I suppose the fact France have to chase a bonus point makes a difference as their mindset will be to score tries so it should be open for us to exploit.
It's going to be tight |

I've been trying to ignore the fact that in just over 24 hours time we'll be going for the Grand Slam
I've had the shakes all day
I don't think my nerves can stick it |

A) The Shakes are probably from catching Toby's alcoholism through the forum.
B) Have faith, we can do this!
C) Stock up on plenty of beer (see Toby)!

"23-6
It’ll be quite a turn up if England can overturn this
(Conversely currently a clear demonstration that this England team aren’t you to much)"
Can't believe that an England team are in this position and still defending Eddie Jones! The guy hasn't got a clue he has one of the best pool of players to pick from but has made his player's complacent by not selecting form players. |

The main problem is that Saracens - and Saracens players - seem to be undroppable. It was ludicrous picking players for the squad who haven’t played top flight rugby in months. |

Yes that is true you can't argue with the quality they have but unless you are playing top level rugby you will not be competitive. |

Our own doing not securing the GS tonight "
Agreed: we’ve had excellent discipline this Six Nations (no cards of any colour) - right up til the last 15 minutes...... |

I'm amazed at the furore over the discipline in the last 15. It's bleeding obvious that had Wales not conceded penalties and cards, they would have conceded 3-4 tries instead. Why? We were being crushed by the French in a way we hadn't been in this year's comp till then. |
