So, tomorrow is the announcement for Wales. What are your thoughts on what Drakeford will say ? Do you think he will re-open non essential shops from the 15th ?
I've been in work this week getting ready to prepare incase we re-open from Monday |

Hoping that gyms and hospitality will be able reopen (even if outdoors for a time) by mid April. Non essential retail and hairdressers and the like are looking likely to open from Monday |

I'm expecting the focus to be on wellbeing. Opening hair dressers and beauticians. Gyms too, maybe, as well as some non-essential shops.
Gething mentioned yesterday that the 'stay local' will be something we've done before so 5 miles / within your county or stay in Wales. I'm guessing it will be 'stay in county'. |

Non essential retail will likely open along with gyms etc.
Stay local will be in place, but probably defined by local authorities than the Assembly, there was talk that people in more rural areas will be allowed to travel further than those in built up areas |

Rural areas have been traveling further than built up areas from 1st lockdown we don't have much choice! |

I live between Neath and Port Talbot. None of my family are with in 5 miles. last time, we just used common sense- probably do the same. We are reasonably 'rule-keeper' ish, so we've really worked hard to do the right thing. So if we need to bend the rules, I guess we will. |

"Relaxing the travelling rules?
Has anyone seen the amount of traffic on the roads ? It's like lockdown was over weeks ago !"
Have you noticed how the petrol and diesel price has been steadily increasing? Funny that. |

I think the smaller shops including barbers & hair dressers will open first with the larger ones a few weeks later. On a personal note I hope the swimming pools will be allowed to reopen sooner rather than later, with the chlorinated water they must be one of the safest places ? |

Well Dickford has surpassed himself with his unturn.
In the firebreak he stopped the supermarkets selling non-essential goods. Today he gives them 4 weeks competition free trading.
Twat. |

If i owned a small shop i look to take legal action against dickford . As he is stopping them trading.while showing preference to the supermarkets. surely there is a law about denying shops plying their trade |

He is giving funding to smaller shops who cannot open yet. Those that are open currently and now able to sell non essential won’t be receiving any of that funding.
To be honest, I think it’s fairly sensible. Talking to friends who work in retail, they were concerned that people would try to travel in from England etc if we opened our stores sooner than theirs. They seem to be trying to keep the date in line with England to prevent this happening. |

I have no problem holding back until English shops open, it’s the double standard of letting the supermarkets clean up unopposed for the next 4 weeks!! Outrageous- he really has no clue. |
