We are all hoping that the majority of these restrictions will be lifted when summer comes along. Whats are you most looking forward to?

Personally looking forward to the clubs reopening and the lazy summer days down Pembrey topping up the tan lol.

I love an optimist but I highly doubt clubs will be reopened by the summer

Seens as they're looking at Autumn to get everyone (who wants to be) vaccinated, and that will only be their first dose

Had talked with a playmate about meeting again at Easter, then it changed to summer - now think I'll be lucky if it happens this year.

Wales is already behind the planned vaccination schedule and this is the easy part. Soon people who had the 1st jab will be needing the 2nd. That can't wait so it'll delay the next lot of 1st jabs.

The thing we are looking forward to most is having a cuddle with our kids who we haven't seen for 5 months.

Yep

Our second jabs which we were meant to have after 21 days have already been delayed to 12 weeks, amd I'm still not holding my breath on that

This mornings news, senior docs are pushing for this 12 week gap be dropped to 6 weeks, cant see that happening with this government, we're still nowhere near the million doses a day.

The Welsh Government is keeping half the doses back so that they can be sure everyone gets a second jab.

You still need trained staff & suitable locations to do the jabs. If they're busy doing the 2nd jabs, they can't start the next round of 1st jabs

Apparently Wales isn't behind the vaccination schedule, it's just the statistics are always 3 days behind as they need to be verified before release. Article on BBC Wales website today.

It was the BBC saying during the week we were falling behind. But things do seem to be moving now. I'm taking an elderly relative for their 1st one next week.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed things go as planned. But there's likely to be delays & problems.

Aye, the BBC pulled their fingers out for a change and did some actual journalism

Hope it goes well for your relative. My dad said the process was very efficient when he went.
