More modern era I would say having not seen any of the above live but have seen Foo Fighters live a few times and they are pretty much the best around at the moment. Would have loved to have seen queen live at wembley and also when the stole the show at band aid was it? Excuse my irgnorance it's my age.

What about van halen, guns and roses,

Big fan of Pearl Jam too

The list is endless I suppose it's what you like

Would have to say the best live band I ever saw, and my god I've seen loads, was Queen, Knebworth 1986 the last ever gig with Freddie, but we didn't know it at the time....... the atmosphere was incredible and Freddie was such a showman..... A close second would be Deep Purple and Roger Waters 'The Wall'.....

Can't beat a good live concert. Tia is a huge take that fan but I took her to the Ozzfest in 2001 and she loved it

I can remember Tiger Tailz playing in Tonypandy years ago. Can't remember what the venue was called but they had some great shows there.

Never forget Nine Below Zero and Budgie playing in the Nixons Hall in Mountain Ash. I was a 10 year old home town boy and those shows set me up as a rocker for life pmsl *-

I have a black sabbath tattoo so I love them but Ozzy can't sing for gravy.

AC/DC - for the sound

Queen - for the show

Deep Purple - for the music

Led Zep - For sheer awesomeness

Awesome concert songs from the above:

Hells Bells AC/DC Monster of Rock circa 1980

Radio Gaga Queen Live Aid (not there but saw it on TV)

Burn - Deep Purple London 1974 just before Blackmore left. The guiter solo on Burn was aggressive and went on forever.

Moby Dick - Led Zep London 1974. Probably too much for me at that time but I wish I knew then what I know now.
