Hi all...as some of you may know Charlie turns 40 in October, and so does the lovely Tina (_rystals). We have now decided to hold them a joint birthday party in Chams to celebrate...this will he held between thier birthdays on the 20th October.
I have put this on here early to give people plenty of notice.
We are hoping to see as many of you there as possible.
Please can you let us know if you can make it so we gave an idea of numbers for catering etc...either by posting on here or sending us or _rystals a message.

wish i could make it but i am no longer a chams member and they are to expensive for me to be able to afford to go these days so sorry i will have to bw out of this party  but i will drop a card down for to tina and kev |

Don't think everyone can take guests hun, because we are having the party Charlie said last night that we can have a certain number of guests for the party only. Not sure how many couples yet, got to let them know how many are interested nearer the time and they will say yey or nay lol. If you want to bring some though inbox us the names and we can add them to the list.
We can also take a few single men too if any want to go.
Entrance will be a little more than what it usually is for members but won't have to pay a membership fee. |

In all fairness, the couple who instigated this thread should have had the decency and good manners to post another another thread saying that there would be no party at Chams that night. By not doing so it makes them out to be time wasters, rude, ignorant and basically idiots! |

Wow...harsh, but maybe deserved....
I'm sorry all, I honestly forgot about this post and have had this pointed out to me by a friend...
In our defence, since this was posted on the site, I had an accident that prevented me from being able to walk, only temporary thank god but I would have and still would find it impossible to get about in Chams, also our daughter got hit by a car so I do apologise, but we had other things on our minds, not that it's any excuse, obviously I should have put others first...
I did speak to Charlie (manager in Chams)and explained that we wouldn't be able to attend but wasn't sure if the others were still going ahead...obviously it didn't happen and for that I apologise...
Anyone who knows us can vouch for the fact that we are not time wasters, idiots or anything else that we have been called and if that's what anyone want to think then you know where the block button is.
Sometimes real life gets in the way of swinging, and I'm honestly glad I'm not as judgemental as some people...  |

Thats very harsh!
We can vouch that Charlie and Lola are definately not timewaters.
As Lola explained, personal events overtook them, and obviously their first thoughts were for their family.
If anyone should be in the firing line, its me (Martin).
I hold my hands up, I broadcast this as a party night for a long time, and encouraged people to go, fully intending to be there with Jayne.
I knew that Lola had hurt her ankle, although we didnt know definately that shew wouldnt be able to attend, plus obviously her daughters accident came out of the blue.
On the actual day, Jayne had her flu jab, and had a bad reaction to it, dizzy spells etc. She wanted to go, so as not to let people down,but I pulled the plug on that at the last minute due to my concerns for her.
So, if people want to get all bent out of shape about it and start having a go, fine, I'm happy to stand my corner. |
