Hello my fellow fabbers, my wife and I were planning to spend 3 days in Scotland (31st dec until 3rd jan) but due to Scottish Covid rules looks like that will not happen
What are current covid rules in Wales for people travelling from England T2?
Thanks |

Legally T2 can enter Wales but are discouraged from doing so. People from Wales are equally discouraged from visiting areas of England and Scotland with lower prevalence.
In any case, by then, all holiday accommodation will be required to be closed except for essential (work) reasons. You will also find that all entertainment venues, visitor attractions, restaurants, pubs, etc will also be closed.
So I would think your best bet is to stay home and have a quiet one. |

From the 28th, so applicable to the dates you're looking at, Wales is moving into tier 4 restrictions. All holiday accommodation must close, except for essential maintenance, and you cannot travel without reasonable excuse.
In other words, don't bother. Stay where you are. It's probably safer than here |

I thought so, all attractions and venues were not important, we were planning to get into the hot tub in some secluded place, lots of walks etc...
But you’re all right it’s better to stay here or find somewhere safe in England, Scotland and Wales will have to wait |

Come back when it’s safe, I’m sure there’ll be plenty of people on here willing to give you a very warm welcome. |
