What have you done for someone just to help them out for free with your time and effort?
I've not taken payment for a couple of small electrical jobs, knowing they don't have the money to spare. Just saying happy Christmas and no payment needed.
I know it sounds cheesy, but you do get a bit of a glow from it. It's been a crappy year and it's good to pass on a bit of cheer |

I came across a couple of lads stuck in in their car in flood water on gower, helped them push their car out and tried jumped starting it but the engine was flooded, made sure they were in a safe place for recovery by their parents later |

"I do my elderly neighbour a Xmas dinner every year for the last 5 yrs since I've lived here, I know it's not a lot but he wouldn't have one otherwise "
A simple gesture that means so much to someone, very kind. |

A friend of mine in the Wirral is on a low wage and struggles every month. I have a standing order that pays her £200 a month. I do it it for no more reason than she is a friend who helped me mentally and I would never see a friend struggle. This has gone on for about 2 years. Last Christmas her freezer packed up, so her Christmas present was a new freezer and the year before her present was a fridge for the same reason. |
