covid is irrelevant, as we have free movement in Wales... (For now). We aren't in lockdown, and you are able to travel.  |

I've used the Mecure for dayuse. If it's open and they're taking bookings there shouldn't be an issue.
It's a decent hotel, rooms are ok and check in is easy. |

No ID was asked for. It's just a standard hotel booking.
You pay by card on the front desk.
I used them early lockdown when they were still open. |
