"Unless you’re able to ride at a 30km/p pace you wouldn’t enjoy riding with me "
I’ll bring my car
Out a bit in Gloucestershire up over Cranham with hills and woods. MTB or road (hybrid). Nylons under Lycra to keep warm |

Don't have a road bike, but would be great to get out off-roading again after Xmas. What with lockdown / not being able to work most of the year & indulging over Xmas, I suspect it'll have to be a very measured return to the saddle.
If any other old farts fancy getting together to push their bikes up a few hills let me know!

I love getting out on my MTB. A bit far to cycle to meet up. |

Still been out but it's more tricky now on many of my normal localish routes (covid guidelines) due to flooding....but found some tracks and bridleways to ride with the Gravel bike.... done a few Turbo "shifts" too...Weeks forecast is looking pretty good for next weekend....however...going to get the Gravel grinder out in the week, work permitting |

Been out for a 'potter around'
Had to come home after 2 hours, as l couldn't feel my toes
Hands were okay, despite fairly basic gloves, as were ears
(skull-cap under helmet, but l prefer ears free, for traffic-noise)
Been in about 1/2 hour, just about feel feet
I was wearing Sidi CX shoes, didn't seem cold enough for overshoes...

"Anyone riding Afan this morning, road through the village is closed. Best use Junction 40 & the A4107 (top road) .
How was it?"
If you mean the race, no idea - I don't do running.
Afan seems almost back to normal. The bottom carpark was open along with the new bridge near the visitor centre. |

I’m into mountain biking also have a fun fatbike and a indoor watt bike but that’s more of a dust collector at the moment.
I’ve been toying with the idea of a gravel bike, just as a jump on quickly and pop out a few miles. But don’t know enough about them to jump straight in. |

" that's what we ride, they're good fun, mainly the Vale lanes, and a bit of trail up at hensol. And there's a lane that runs from Ely to Dinas which is nice too. Easily do 30-40 miles on them. |
