Used to get this all the time so just gave up on the polite "thanks but no thanks" messages. I feel so rude just deleting, but it is the lesser of two evils sadly. |

Charming, hope he doesn’t speak to his wife like that. In 8 years being on here and other sites I can honestly say I I’ve never spoken to anyone like that. Not that I can recollect anyway. I tend to let some of my real life personality spill over into the online world and I’d never even consider speaking to someone like that. |

Charming, hope he doesn’t speak to his wife like that. In 8 years being on here and other sites I can honestly say I I’ve never spoken to anyone like that. Not that I can recollect anyway. I tend to let some of my real life personality spill over into the online world and I’d never even consider speaking to someone like that. "

It also, months or a year later, when they look at your profile and see “they emailed you X months ago”, makes them message you all chatty like you were really talking to them rather than just saying “no ta”. |

No your not, it’s just called being a grown up and having common courtesy. Respect and courtesy are in pretty short supply in a world of anonymity like the internet. Half the people on here who give abuse would get their teeth knocked out if they spoke to someone like that in real life. |

I just block all accounts that don't respond to my messages after a day or two. Solves lots of issues. If I happen to bump in to them at a social or in a club and we get talking, then they are unblocked.
Unfortunately women on here get literally messages running out of their ears in a very short space of time. |

I've been on here for a few years now and my free time is limited and I don't often message women/couples but when I do if I get a no thanks I just leave it be or say OK no worries, because I know the lovely single ladies on this site get bombarded with messages by idiots and it makes it harder for the genuine polite males messages to be read. |

It seems that even a “thanks but no thanks” receives a shitty reply these days.... usually from an unverified pic profile with limited info on it etc. These ones I usually ignore.
It’s the ones with multiple veris who get shitty that I don’t understand, they should know better |

This really does my head in!
I had a couple message me a few months back. Set up a meet and they cancelled. Rearranged for 2 weeks later. When I asked if they had booked the room, I was blocked and they wouldn’t answer the phone. I was fuming! |

Can't believe the lengths some single guys go to to try and pretend to be a couple. Why, they always get found out and then usually respond shitily like everyone should want to meet them . We had a similar experience on another site, block and move on. Xx G |

I really don’t get this why do men A) think it’s acceptable to pretend to be a cpl and get shitty when there advance is rejected. And B) send abusive messages as single males when women and cpls aren’t dropping at there feet. It spoils it for us genuine guys who enjoy messaging and meeting. |

What we find so bizarre is the expectation to just drop everything and meet.
95% of the time we are just catching up & chatting. Occasionally we might be up for meeting.
Just because we don't reply right now isn't actually an automatic rejection necessarily. Just take it for what it is.
We've had occasional chats and have ended up meeting 18 months later. Any time we get anything remotely rude it's a block.
And don't forget from a couples and presumably a single woman's perspective, even with the huge number of guys here chasing meets, a crazy number really aren't here to meet when it comes down to it (presumably attached / married). |
