1700 losing our jobs next week nothing to do with covid but this pandemic does not help the economy or people trying to find employment these are dark days |

Reckon Newport the way people were in city centre last Saturday
Very few wearing masks and no social distancing
Talking about the daytime must be worse in the evenings |

Hope they leave us the fuck alone down here aswell, our numbers are tiny atm, touch wood
Not that pubs shutting at 11pm would bother me.... I'm usually in a coma by 9 |

I did read the article. I haven't been out in town itself since before lockdown, I tend to stick to one or 2 pubs local or in Ponty and they're doing a great job |

The problem was that once public gatherings were allowed people flooded to the beach and bars etc. Without wishing to course offence to people living in the valleys etc but there isn’t a lot to do so you can’t blame them for heading to the coast. After a few drinks social distancing goes out of the window and now we can see the results. I’m lucky as I live in Cardiff and like others found many ways to enjoy myself eg walks and cycle rides so when things were lifted it didn’t really change anything. I also think that people under 30 must be monitored as although they are safer it doesn’t stop them spreading it |
