If furlough stops end of October then I'd say owners of clubs should do wot they can to save their businesses and livelihood even if that means reopening, why should owners that worked hard to get a business started have to lose everything they've worked hard for all their lives, bollocks to wot the government wants if they are not willing to help |

Furlough has already been hugely reduced - last month the national insurance and pension contributions stopped, the 80% is being reduced monthly until absolutely nothing. So many people will be left high and dry in November some of those can’t be helped like the clubs mentioned above but I’m sure some places will be using it to get rid of staff that they could afford to keep on without a care for them |

We let people go, taken them off the retention scheme as there’s no jobs for them to come back to.
It’s a sad feeling but needs must,
I’ve worked through this on my own while everyone’s been on furlough to keep things going but contracts are finishing up faster so works drying up. |
