I often block people I have no interest in meeting or interacting with aswell as those whose photos make me heave. And if someone comes across as a bit of a halfwit on the forums I tend to opt to block aswell. So it's not uncommon OP

Sometimes it's nothing to do with your behaviour on Fab.

Theres people on here that I know in everyday life, and I wish to remain private. Perhaps they know you, and wish to spare the embarrassment?

It used to puzzle me, but everyone has a reason and that's their business I guess?

We have no issue with blocking others if they persist after we've said no. Same as we always block timewasters.

For some reason your profile comes up saying we are blocked but dont ever remember talking with you both

Everyone talks about the block button as if it's a negative thing, 99% it's not going to be personal. If a profile doesn't look like one you'd have interest in, use the tool as it's intended & stop feeling so precious about things

It gets taken to heart when people say they use the block button because of the way they get treated which is what we do but when there are profiles we dont even remember talking to or looking at that block us it makes us question why

Use it as a tool, not a weapon and yes 'tool' is a euphemism for most of the people you will probably end up blocking anyway.

It may be as simple as someone blocking you because they're bot looking to meet couples. It saves you wasting your time then by contacting people who won't be interested in you.

Don't take it personally, its simply our filter as we don't want to meet large people, just pour preference, that's all.xx

Glasgowish

I am not sure why folk choose to block without a good reason. Seems a bit harsh to me.

"I am not sure why folk choose to block without a good reason. Seems a bit harsh to me."

A lot of people use it as a filter

It saves both parties having their time wasted by contacting someone who wouldn't want to meet them and often a polite "no thankyou" is met with persitant "why nots" etc so it just removes all that and saves everyone wasting their time

Blocking is a simple, but effective filter.

You know you're not interested, or they are not interested in you, by blocking stops them appearing in searches or you feeds.

I use it all the time, on women and couples.
