I had a 1.6 petrol with the 5 speed, was a bit of a weapon on the motorway.
Now if you're talking about slow that was my first car. 1.6 Ford Cortina, could hardly get up a hill. Lots of space in the back seat tho |

"Has there ever been a more boring car made than the Mondeo? "
Plenty of them, most average 70s & 80s cars were.
Although the Mondeo was boring since it would start most of the time & didn't need repairing every few months. |

"I got a mk3 mondeo St running 194bhp at the moment but I'm stripping it down to rebuild it with some new toys so hopefully get 230bhp or more at the end of the day "
I absolutely love this car, found a lush titanium x with the st kit on it, nearly bought it but something didn’t ring true with the add. Used to drool over them back in the old MEG days. |

"The first vehicle that I had sex in was the original Mini Clubman, just bought a the newer variant and obviously wandering if my luck will return.
"
Fairplay to you being able to get your leg over in one of them back in the day |

In all honesty I wouldn’t be able to get my leg into one never mind getting my Leg over in one |

Surprisingly the original Mini Clubman had the benefits of folding down the rear backrests making the floor space similar to a Mini van or alternatively using the rear seats with the front ones tipped forward (as you could also do in the car variant) I can't think of any other small vehicle that was so versatile. |

"My Seat is also a VAG VW/Audi underneath.
Engine, gearbox, suspension, seats - even the dashboard is straight out of an Audi. "
Exactly, why people pay more for an Audi I really don't know |

Could it be that the top range Audis are more sporty hence the pricing structure, then one step down you have Volkswagen followed by Skoda then Seat.
They have been very clever in structuring mainly a common product to maximise their market potential. |

It's a great bit of market manipulation. They sell basicly the same cars to a range of different people. Each one thinking they've getting a good deal. Very clever.
When I bought mine, for same price the VW version was a year older & done 40,000 miles more. Given I don't just judge things on outwards appearance - I got the Seat. |

Then you have their supercar range of brands that probably don't share the any of the main VAG components |
