Here's a promise. When this is over, we'll have a woodland party. Hopefully on a nice day, so we can all be naked in the sun. Music, food, bubbly drinks, dancing, bonfire, lovemaking, we even have a marquee.

R & S, You could draw quite a lot of inspiration by watching the Wiccan Pseudo-documentaries made by the Sander's in the early 70's - 'Secret Rites' and 'Legend of The Witches'. They were active in London but also in North Wales in those days. PM us if you want a link to a free download for these old gems. They will give you idea's ! |

The one thing that's taxing me.... OK, the guys and girls who are camping can pee in the woods.... but how about if they need a poo? Don't want the pristine woodland spoiled. Sorry to be basic!
The access to our woods is via a hairpin path and you couldn't get a portable toilet up the path. Our house is a quarter mile away from our clearing, so maybe that would work...
Any good ideas anyone? |

Go back to basics. Dig a dry pit away from the main gathering, erect a small tent and install a portable toilet seat (Along the lines some disabled people use) Once finished with simply fill the dry pit back in (Going back to my younger days as a scout leader here lol) |

Yes, I remember doing the same thing when our scout group camped wild, if the weather was warm it would get moved each day. It's also what they did at festivals before the advent of portaloos and some still do as it has much less environmental impact. |

Earth toilets: have a large bucket over which is place a box with a hole in it's top. Cover the thing with a toilet tent, place a bucket of sawdust/earth next to it and provide a paddle. Every time it's used for a number 2, paddle some dirt/dust over it. The poop is broken down by the dirt/dust and is 'clean' soil after about two weeks and can be disgaurded in the woods without any detremental effect. It's an eco-friendly answer. |

It does look like a good idea. We did something a while back but we did couples only and looking at the list of people who are asking, at the moment is looks men our outnumbering and that sometimes can be a problem. No way accusing the men on here as we do not know you but generally getting pestered all the time when you are out for fun is not the best.
Who knows it may work. We will keep looking out on it. Is there a charge?

We were thinking about say a dozen couples with tents, maybe two guys to help with entertainment, drinks etc..
Could have more than one party. Maybe one straight, one bi? Or one bareback, one safe? (Ducks down behind barricade) |

Access to our clearing is via a narrow steep path, OK for our Mule 4x4 but not for vehicles. They would have to be parked half mile away. |
