We bought a new car a few weeks back and it has been parked up and redundant ever since due to the way things are. Strangely, we observed, it seemed to be getting shat on by birds more often than one might expect - we seemed to be cleaning of little parcels of poo far, far too regularly. Today we got to the bottom of the reason of why this was!
A Great Tit, (no, calm down, a small yellow bird, not a voluptuous one-knockered and feisty gal!) was, upon finding his own reflection in the windscreen and side mirrors, vigorously 'fighting' ferociously what he thought was his rival' over territorial rights. This incontinent little wretch excreting prodigiously all the time over our motor as he did so! What one notices when bored. The joys of lockdown eh? We will try to film him 'at it' tomorrow. Does this make us voyeurs or perhaps fight groupies? |
