I’m beginning to think it’s a bit like a grieving process reading ppls responses to the situation we’re all in. Ppl are having symptoms almost like an illness.

Some of the responses/symptoms are emotional others instinctive etc. Clearly a lot initially panicked and went out and bought supplies, survival instinct. On reflection I can see it wasn’t out of selfishness but human instinct to survive.

Are you experiencing a journey of emotions or instinctive behaviour? I’m interested to see the similarities in behaviour.

I also know that some are concerned that they are behaving out of character. Maybe by sharing our ‘symptoms’ we can find comfort in the knowledge others are experiencing the same things

I have a need to feed. Luckily my family are here with me and I would consider myself a nurturing type but I feel like I need to keep them warm, fed and watered. Maybe a bit too much feeding

I'm not worried about the virus and I've not panic bought a single item.

That being said; the virus has made my work 'disappear'. My children aren't getting a proper education either.

The 'lockdown' is pissing me off. I've been focussing on my YouTube channel instead. God bless YouTube.

Haha you shared

All sounds perfectly normal to me, I was like that initially but it seems to have calmed a little thankfully. I think it may have been triggered by the empty shelves in the supermarkets

Are you getting support financially? That’s a huge worry when you have a family

I've been separated from my son for 2 weeks now, as am a front line worker.

At least I know he is safe and happy with his grandparents on the farm.

So am a little irritable and grumpy today sitting in my scrubs having a coffee.

As long as it calms down a little I will be ok.

Empty shelves in supermarkets have a very strange affect on the mind. I haven’t been in a supermarket for a while now but I’m hoping it’s back to normal - apart from the distancing rule obviously.

So seeing people reactions some good some god damn awful about the situation is making my blood boil to be honest."

Yes I can empathise with the responses of others being upsetting with also being a key worker. I’m starting to see the actions of others at this time very much connected with trying to survive. I think it’s a society that’s lost some of it’s survival instincts floundering

The distancing ppl are still finding tricky if I’m honest but the majority are trying

I think so as well. I saw a new advert yesterday by Tesco explaining the distancing rule. I thought that was a good idea.

Hopefully it will help because I had to ask ppl to move away yesterday. It was a bit scary I was alone the next thing I turned around and ppl were there. I felt a bit trapped

I’m sure if we politely point it out to people then it will help them to become used to it. We all have to be mindful.
