It depends on the degree of their virus load ( ie: only in short contact = minor symptoms. Longer contact = worse symptoms)

There will be many thousands with mild symptoms.

Many thousands with more serious symptoms.

Death is at one end and recovery at the other.

Don't see the 'odd'.

Figures suggest approx 80% of people get mild or no symptoms. Approx 4% dying but that figure is based on confirmed cases. The actual % dying will be lower as many more non confirmed cases as tests not being carried out on people self isolating at home with symptoms.

Doesn't seem odd to me. Most with it experience only mild symptoms.

Can't be arsed. I'm concentrating on my family in these times.

Yeah...I'm doing that plus, nursing people who are sick with it with no underling conditions

Source?

A person's viral load, according to a study from Hong Kong (the Lancet) discovered on a nasopharyngeal swab does indicate degree of mild to severe symptoms. It was found that those with severe symptoms had 60 times a higher viral load than those with mild symptoms.
