What’s people’s thoughts on this ?
Anecdotal evidence but I dont know anyone who regularly takes anti materials getting Corona,
It would also not be in the interests of big pharma if something as cheap and widely used as avloclor made you immune |

Yes that’s unfortunate, someone in Lagos also died of OD. It’s apparently sold out in whole of Lagos / VI now. It costs less $15 a month which but locals generally don’t buy it and are fine with Malaria instead - but seems not prepared to risk getting Corona. |

dangerous because the only trial they have done so far has been on a trial of 20 people.... of which 6 still ended up in ICU and 1 died!
the problem is that when trump says stuff like this, people only believe him, and then you get the issue that 2 people have died in the US from taking the drugs.... |

I would say taking advice from someone on an internet forum from something that could kill you is foolish and frankly dangerous.
Sorry op but this thread should be removed.
Taking any medication with correct guidance from a qualified physician is madness! |

There are shortages of the drug for those who need it, in the US, because some doctors are prescribing it for their families |

You’re entitled to your opinion , but it’s almost impossible to die from taking anti malarial tablets that are available without prescription for anyone travelling to areas with malaria.
And I’m not giving advice

This happens so much, private doctors I know advise certain things to me as a friend and treat themselves and families in certain ways, but can’t give that advice to customers. |
