It's difficult to understand the stats, 4500 out of the 5100 are in NY.
NY seems to have tested 90k out of a total of 105k which seems a huge number, I've had to jump around to get stats.
But countries or cities testing less will obviously have lower volumes.
In short I'm saying many places could be the same but just don't know it |

There are quite a lot of people saying the same thing - about under-reporting due to lack of testing, that is. This includes our government's chief medical and scientific advisers. Those same people suggest that a better estimate of the true number of cases is between 500 and 1000 times the current number of deaths in a region. That technique only applies during the exponential growth phase of the infection.
The WHO has been trying to push countries to do lots more testing for a while now, to get a better handle on the true extent of the problem. |

It's wishful thinking. Easter 2021 would be more realistic. He's a proud American who wants the end to this soon so he can move forward.
If we had his equivalent Alan Sugar, he'd be saying what bloody virus get out there and make me bloody rich. |
