I certainly wasnt nasty to him, but I'm now hoping that I didn't talk down to him, I know I joked about it all quite a bit, but I was reading and taking in what he was trying to tell us, I was wrongly sceptical about it though  |

Some people were really out of order, it's ok to be sceptical but not to ridicule someone which others did.
I've noticed those same people seem pretty anxious about it all now though which is why I hope they apologised.
It's a totally messed up situation but even now people find it impossible to follow guidelines  |

Some people were really out of order, it's ok to be sceptical but not to ridicule someone which others did.

Tom is still on Fab but doesn't seem to post to the forums anymore. Maybe he got a ban? He was a solo voice about this virus at times with everyone mocking him, not nastily always, but in fun too, but I thought he'd have been on now to tell us we were wrong to not wake up. |

The last few posts of his I remember seeing he was being rather rude and abusive to at least one person. I forget which post it was on. Don't think it was a virus one. Say maybe a ban.
He will pop up again.
Most people were not taking the piss because of the virus, but because his reaction is the same for every single thing he posts.
Its always along the same format, he provides zero discussion from himself. Even though he was right about this, his actual input toward the discussions was just soapbox shouting trying to stir something up. Again you just have to look at all of his other threads and comments on other subjects to see the trend.
Predictable patterned behaviour.
That is why most people could not be doing with what he was posting.
That other guy with actual stats and numbers (regardless if you trust them or not) made much better discussion on the whole subject than Tom ever did. |
