Autobanning anyone who suggests meeting

It's irresponsible, dangerous and entitled.

Probably won't be implemented because of how much fuss there would be but it would mean a good portion of the scummy ones are taken away

Hell

I'm just blocking them as I come across them. If they don't care for anyones safety now they don't care any other time.

Or you could just block them or even ignore them?

Total over reaction. If you or your meet have not been exposed to anyone who has had symptoms in the last 7-14 days, then your safe as you can be. Social distancing is about reducing the chance of exposure to unknown quantities. This is why all clubs have been told to close. Everyone needs to be sensible and assessment of the risks involved. If you are shit scared, then lock yourself away for the next year or more. Anyone who thinks they may have been exposed should self isolate for 2wks to keep everyone else safe -simples. But life has to continue. Just stay safe. If you don't trust your meet, then don't meet them. Nought new there then.

That’s not quite true, people can spread it without showing symptoms at all. And anyway, some people will lie through their teeth to get a meet at the best of times.

Totally incorrect. You are infectious with this for approx 5-7 days BEFORE you get symptoms that is why it is spreading so fast as everyone has this false sense of security.

You don't know if you or anyone you meet has it, the only way to keep as safe as possible it to keep away from people.

There are also carriers who remain asymptomatic.

While it is of course an individual choice, it is also an individual choice to judge this behaviour harshly.

It's great everyone is being responsible, well most of us but why the need to publicise that you're banning, just do it and move on.

People will do as they will, some meet some dont.

Personally I dont think it's the right thing to do but nor do i feel those who do are the great unwashed. I just dont think everyone gets it yet. It's all pretty surreal.

We're currently mirroring Italy but are a fortnight behind. Think on.
