Yeah it was on offer in Tescos, it was alright with a lime in the top but I do prefer desperados if I'm honest. On a different note coronavirus I haven't had but I'm fit and healthy so not to worried about my self im very worried about the vunrable tho so I'm avoiding them at all costs including my mum.

No, I've woken up with a cough from hell this morning but i also have catarrh and a runny nose (nice) so I guess it's just a cold

"Has any one definitely had Corona yet ? "

Good question as I’ve asked lots of people I know - we don’t know of anyone that’s had it.

One of my friends, who I don't speak to that often (and haven't seen for a while) messaged me last night to say she's been recovering from it.

So that's 1 for me.

She says she's immune now, and I think she was trying to hit me up on a booty call, the cheeky tart!

No idea but my daughter has the cough and fever and we have to self-isolate. Not good that we cant get tested as we're off work and are key workers. What if it's not this virus and we're off for no reason? What if one of us does take it in future and we're off again???? Minefield

My sister has it (unconfirmed but highly probable)

She has been struck down now for 9 days but slowly starting to feel better. Two of her kids had coughs and temps too but seem to have been ok after 4 days. I spoke to her on the phone and it sounds like she has the deepest cough I’ve ever heard.

Her children went to school with the children of the 45 year old that sadly died this week

So if it’s not covid-19 whatever she has is eerily similar

You can carry the virus and be asymptomatic, that's the scary thing about it

I think I have but can’t be sure. 3 weeks ago some fucker sneeze at me on a train. 5 days later I was having trouble breathing and the got a cough but it wasn’t dry but I’m a smoker and so thought little of it other than you need to pack up the fags mate. It then turned into a cold with sneezing and a very runny nose. then over the course of the Tuesday afternoon from feeling a bit crap to feeling awful. I was tired, shaking and my temperature shot right up. This went on until the following Thursday when it went away as quickly as it came leaving me with a heavy cold which I’ve now got over. Did I have it ? Who knows but I hope so. I know lots of people that have had similar symptoms.

For me I haven’t had it confirmed but

Tight chest, dry cough but only if I deep breath with NO phlem and NO sinus issues, a bit tied but no fever. Just at the tail end of it now, if not probably a day to to two days till being back to normal

So most likely yes but can’t get tested so managed to self isolate as 8 days I think in the end

2 friends (husband and wife) in London have it. They called NHS who confirmed on the phone based on symptoms and advised them to stay home. It's day 8 now. They have very bad days and some milder days. Now feels like theyve turned the corner.

Sister and nephew both had the symptoms. Started with a very deep, dry cough and then became sweaty and feverish. My nephew was pretty ill for a couple of days but quickly bounced back, my sister was quite ill and became almost delirious at one point but is slowly starting to feel better.

Neither was actually a confirmed case, but it certainly sounds like it. They are now self isolating.

We all know that at some stage we will almost certainly have to fight the infection and survive to be able to self immunise from it, dont we?

I had the same symptoms except I don’t practice that filthy habit. Think I’m immune to the virus now

Think the prob is that no one actually can be sure unless they have been tested. As tests arent available to all it's a lot of guesswork unfortunately.

You don't know for sure unless tested or tested for the antibodies after.

Is it just me or does this feel like the mid 80s again? The feeling of worry and paranoia? ('He's tested positive etc etc)

Admittedly people weren't panic buying arseholes hoarding bog roll in 1986, mind.

"Think the prob is that no one actually can be sure unless they have been tested. As tests arent available to all it's a lot of guesswork unfortunately."

Test kits are being sold privately online for over £300 while the NHS are unable to get kits to test the very staff in the frontline trying to help others.

This is all wrong, so wrong

Tbh I think a lot have had this but it came out as a mild cold or bit flu-ish.

Sadly many people haven't and I hope it doesn't affect someone you care about

no one will know unless they are admited to hospital everyone self isolating are doing so on advice nothing else until the testing is outside of the hospitals no one will know for sure ...so if someone tells you theyve got it its likely top be bs .... not even nhs staff are tested yet ... next will be nhs staff and then residents of care homes and staff then all essential keyworkers until it trickles down to mass testing everywhere then we will get a sense of the size of the virus hit ...

I saw a documentary advertised on the telly the other day called "The Flu That Killed 50 Million" on the BBC.

I really can't believe that a hundred years ago, give or take a year, that that happened and I'd never heard of it until now.

I've not watched it yet but it's on the iPlayer if anyone cares to.

According to the NHS symptom checker seems likely, as they told me to stay home. But as they haven't been testing those with mild symptoms I can't definitely say I have. But me and my youngest are 10 days into isolation with a temp, cough and headache.

Had cold/flu like symptoms for the last 2 weeks, Dr reckoned a chest infection but to me didn’t feel like it, he signed me off work anyway n I self isolated for another 7 days.

Still feel ropey and have a bit of the cough left but mostly tired and achey now.

If it was then i’m very very lucky, I have underlying health conditions!

Short lived feeling ill 4 days I’ll think it’s over then back again with a vengeance for another 7 days

Daughter was feeling unwell on Tuesday and coughing on & off. Wednesday high temp and coughed all night, every 4 or 5 minutes the whole night. Felt a bit better next day but the cough has remained. Still feeling weak and under the weather but making progress every day

You can definitely feel rotten enough to have it but still not be sure because nobody can be tested

We're all isolating now but without a test we dont know if it's necessary. Both key workers too.

That's right. I can't believe I'd never heard about it. It shows how fucked up the education system was at school when I was a kid in that history went straight from World War 1 to World War 2 even though the Spanish Flu killed more than World War 1. Crazy.
