Health maybe. Medical implies professional advice.

It doesn’t really matter if people are happy to use it as it is

"Just remove it altogether. It is irrelevant to what the site is about"

The forum relates to people and life, including the many facets, that may or may not relate to sexual life. Would you ban breathing, or healthy open discussion of it?

Your definition of 'what the site is about' is your own, as are everyone else's. You might perhaps want to avoid the Lounge, which is typically upbeat, not exclusively upon sex and swinging. Fab is what you make it

Coz the way I see it there's enough room for everyone to discuss whatever they want really within the boundaries of site rules and common decency, and even then that doesn't stop them.

I do think it should be renamed but not to Medical. Only because people will take it as gospel that they read medical 'advice' on Fab.

I think it should be renamed to Off Topic Discussions. Then its a free for all that isn't covered in the main Forum Headings.

I also think is should be at the very bottom of the Forum Headings as you;re going to have all sorts of crap in there.

Either the above or just get rid of it.

I think it should have the title of ''Health''

The reason for this is some health issues can affect sexual performance etc.

Certain medications can create difficulty in achieving an orgasm for example.. This happened to a friend of mine from New York he could not achieve an orgasm. Yet he could get a full erection.

I think people are only interested when it happens to them. And then they want answers from Joe public.

"Health: peer support" should prevent medical expectations.

If you don't look at the heading why oh why do people say this should be in and surest another Forem Surly the topic should in some way relate to a fourm? Or the admin team would not move topics out of the Lounge to say Politics. And if that is the case can Admin move this topic as its not about the Virus.

In light of the UK health services' overload this winter, from a combination of Covid, flu and norovirus infections amongst others, it's clear that some people don't grasp the reality of where we are. Mutations aren't gone away, either and we could be very easily in a much worse place. I despair when I see people with sneezing, coughing etc who make no attempts to limit how they may impact the well-being of others now.

Yeah.

In 2019 it was rare for me to see people coughing and sneezing without covering their noses and mouths - except for very small children who don't know better.

Now I see it all the time. It's almost like some people think "I had to be mindful of germs for a few years, now I'm going to spray them everywhere"

Nah man. It's still disgusting.

I don't think (some) people go out with the intention to do harm to others. But it definitely seems some people are so poorly educated in terms of hygiene and manners that they think it's acceptable to spray stuff over strangers

Since the pandemic started I swear some people spread their germs on purpose , almost like a kid saying ner ner I am not being told what to do!!

This is what confuses me, though.

I regularly see, now, people who look about 40 who cough and sneeze like toddlers, no attempt to contain it.

Six years ago I never/almost never saw people in their mid-30s doing the same.

What happened to the normal 34 year old in 2019 to turn them into a 40 year old with the cough etiquette of a three year old in 2025?

(Other ages are available, same argument, I'm just picking on "about my age")

Thing is though... I mean it's adults... I supermarkets... On the till... Pick up your foodstuff... Cough over it and then hand it to you... Its a strange phenomenon really... I accept we are all imperfect but it's very weird that they don't get "training" I mean you even see Dr's and nurses in hospitals doing it... Sneezing or coughing putting hands on and without washing moving on to the next. Maybe we are the ones who are in the wrong to expect some basic hygiene?

Is it just posable that the pandemic has made some of us more vigilant so not only do you see it more but make an effort to look for this poor behaviour ans note it. Was it always there but we did not care as much.

What happened to the normal 34 year old in 2019 to turn them into a 40 year old with the cough etiquette of a three year old in 2025?

(Other ages are available, same argument, I'm just picking on "about my age")

Is it just posable that the pandemic has made some of us more vigilant so not only do you see it more but make an effort to look for this poor behaviour ans note it. Was it always there but we did not care as much. "

I'm pretty sure I would have noticed if people were disgusting and vile, even before the pandemic. It's definitely a change.

"Why is it even a topic anymore.

That Covid nonsense ended 4 years ago…

It didn't. Covid has not gone away, people seem to be pretending it has though.

Since the pandemic started I swear some people spread their germs on purpose , almost like a kid saying ner ner I am not being told what to do!!

Or maybe they just don't have any common courtesy or know nothing or don't care about hygiene.

Hands would be an improvement on what I see. I was in Costco the other day and saw several people in the 30-50 range coughing onto the fruit and vegetables with no hands or anything else anywhere near their faces. Like, marginally better than spitting on the fruit.

It's disgusting how some people are indifferent to the distress and disease that they readily inflict on others

I don't think (some) people go out with the intention to do harm to others. But it definitely seems some people are so poorly educated in terms of hygiene and manners that they think it's acceptable to spray stuff over strangers

This is what confuses me, though.

I regularly see, now, people who look about 40 who cough and sneeze like toddlers, no attempt to contain it.

Six years ago I never/almost never saw people in their mid-30s doing the same.

Totally agree, people seem to be going out of their way to be gross.

It's a thought. But no. It wasn't always that way. It's worse now. Grumpy of East Cheam.

Health and wellbeing.

It implies a more holistic approach
