Politicians also tend to be arrogant bastards who think they're better than everyone else - and we live in an era where people think that they're somehow immune to disease because they're special. Further, politicians tend to have access to better healthcare than the rest of us.
So... even if they did act irresponsibly - it hardly proves that science is wrong. It proves that they're dickheads. We knew this. | |||

I think there's been a bit of language slippage in some online communities. Some people now think that seeing someone else wearing a mask is akin to a lockdown. I don't know how far you have to go for "lockdown" to be a thing, but I think it at least needs to entail some sort of restrictions on the general population, rather than seeing someone else do a thing. | |||
