closer than you think

Has anyone else had a bad reaction to the flu jab?

Had mine Saturday morning and by the afternoon I was sweating, feverish and feeling like shite!

Just wondered if it was just my bad luck

I have had this a few times with the flu jab over the years, I just take paracetamol and ride it out as its normally only a day or so as your immune system kicks in and learns to deal with the new flu vaccine.

It actually means your body is responding to the vaccine.

When making antibodies your temperature will rise slightly and make you feel crap. They should tell you this when they give you the vaccine.

Your body is responding to the vaccine. Perfectly normal.

When something that isn't an illness makes us feel 'ill', it shows how much of the nastiness when we do have an infection, is just our own body and its immune response. Essentially, there's nothing wrong with us after the flu jab, our body is just building up our defences. Amazing really.

Oh no…. They gave you the ManFlu jab. You've just got to tough it out. Expecting sympathy however is totally acceptable.

Just get plenty of vit d and c into your body, you don't need big pharma drugs when regular exercise, healthy eating and the above supplements will power you thru the winter.

Not having any more jabs had more days of feeling crap in the last couple of years than the rest of my years put together. Healthy diet and excercise is what I’m putting my trust in from now on.

It is a truism that as you get older things start falling off and going mouldy

couple, us we him her.

Someone suffering from cataracts hundreds of years ago would be advised to mix the gall bladder of a hare with some honey and use a feather to apply it to their eye.

Yeah let's ignore modern medical advancement in favour of old wives tales.

Can't be a very healthy diet if you're having to top it up with Big Pharma supplements

I’ve had a bad reaction to not having the flu jab yet as in I caught flu so I’m off today for my flu jab and covid booster.

Only the 2nd time in 17 years I’ve had the flu and both times because I forgot my jab.

Healthy diet and exercise won’t protect you from contracting any virus. The short term side effects far outweigh the severe illness, in my opinion.
