"Well, it's swinging but not as we know it.
It's an apoxalypse.
Well it's avoidable, so perhaps not the end of the world"
Avoidable, if we all wear hazmat type suits potentially. It can spread through microscopic dust and possibly airborne vapour, as well as physical contact that we're familiar with.
As for the section - 'Virus' is perfectly named for it. |

And it's hardier than corona viruses, apparently |

They reckon you can catch it by having sex with an infected person. Or shaking hands. Or picking up dust off their clothes. Or sitting on a bus seat where they've dropped some dust. Or by having them breathe on you. Or by having them breathe near you. Or putting your hand on a bit of pus that's leaked when they used a door handle. Or from a splash back when you have poo after they've had one. Or getting their pee on your shoes when you stand next to them at a urinal. Or eating the peanuts at a bar after they've had their hand in there.
So yes, totally only can catch it if you're a man having sex with a man. Unless any of the above.... |

Oh please NO. It has been bad enough looking at all the crap written on the virus postings for the past 2 years. Don't give them a chance to talk about something else they know nothing about |

Time the Virus section mutated into two separate roads.
One COVID, one MonkeyPox
Oh, hang on.. are they Viruses, virii or virus's?
The correct plural is 'viruses'. 'Virii' is wrong for two reaons:
1) The Latin plural of word ending in -us is not -ii. -i at best.
2) 'Virus' doesn't have a Latin plural, because its meaning is like (in the sense of not having a plural) 'sand': it already denotes a multitude.
We do need a 'Bacteria' section to keep balance, maybe a Gram Negative and Gram Positive. |

"Monkeypox virus is an enveloped double-stranded DNA VIRUS that belongs to the Orthopoxvirus genus of the Poxviridae family. " according to the WHO.
... Just saying |

Fancy being forced to read crap in the virus forum for two years.

Now I want a Latin forum.

I think you'll find that straight men can get it too, and that plenty of 'straight' men certainly are not.
That's before you even get into the whole fact that you're on a sex site.
So most of the men you will meet will already have met up with couples or women who certainly have no issues with meeting Bi or gay men. |
