I read an article about it in routers and the tourism companies have hailed it is "final game changer" which I can understand and happy for them as well, as all the remaining measures are axed, even as cases continues to rise in the uk.
After a meeting with senior ministers on monday, he confirmed the measures were ending for travel to the uk from 4am on friday under the governments plan for "living with covid", who else thinks that this is also good news and a way to move forward? |

"Op, do you have a link please?
My friend and I are wanting to go to to Spain and can't because he's not vaccinated." Yes. I do, here it is, it is just travelling to the uk, not to other countries.

Idiotic. Not that I'd be using P&O to cross the channel after what they've done to their staff. No help from Johnson and Co there either - too far up the arses of the oil sheikhs who own the parent company. |

"Should of happened months ago, live life now!they didn't check them when they were in place. I'm off to sicily shortly and everyone has to test on arrival x"
That was pretty much my experience when traveling abroad twice during the pandemic. Airline in uk first time cursorily checked passenger locator form, after that nothing in UK either going in or out. In Greece and Italy everything, tests, vaccine status and plts, were checked carefully in and out. |
