Are you sure you entered the correct details when you requested your test? There is currently a delay in getting results out to people so you may just be caught up in that. If you haven't heard in another 24 hours I believe you can contact the test centre and enquire about your result. | |||

There are now multiple commercial protocols for PCR detection of COVID and so there's no need for them to rely on an emergency protocol developed specifically for CDC labs at the start of the pandemic (when commercial reagents were not available). | |||

The inventor of the PCR test said that it wasn't any good as a diagnostic test and should NOT be used for that. Depending on the number of cycles used virtually anything can give a 'positive result' and some involved in this madness are now admitting that it may not be able to differentiate between CV19 and other viruses etc. | |||
