Check out the Covid breathing exercises on YouTube. There’s a lot you can do to keep your lungs healthy and help lessen the impact of Covid

Also amazing for the immune system. Especially paired with a sauna. Take some doing though if you are a cold arse like me

I've only done a little of the breathing stuff (when we were getting over Covid) and didn't get too extreme with it.

I have cold showers every morning though which are particularly cold at this time of the year

A sauna would be nice

I've been doing the Wim Hof method, and similar pranayama techniques for About 5 years now, very rarely get ill, never get a cold, not caught covid. Nasal breathing is definitely the way to go.

I do it after gym sesh. Sauna as hot as I can stand for 15 mins, freezing cold shower for as long as I can stay under it. Usually a minute or two, then back in sauna. Repeat depending on how much time I have that day.

Get those cold and heat shock proteins flowing. Feel great afterwards.

I like the sound of that. Although you should aim for more than a minute or two in the shower

I try, my friend has a plunge/ice tank, i find that better and easier to stay in for longer.

I haven't tried one of those. I do love a plunge pool though and wild swimming (but not round these parts after reading about the sewage releases )

Did it a few times in the sea here. Can be a bit too cold for my liking in the winter though
