"Sigh, some ignorance shown in here. It's not about anti-covid, or anti-vax. It is about freedom and liberty. Something I would have thought people in this lifestyle hold dear. Education is important. The amount of ignorance out there in the general population really is astounding. Vaccine passports and mandatory vaccines are just the start. If they are not nipped in the bud, what comes next? Check out CBDCs and ID2020 for starters. The future puritanical world will frown upon people in this lifestyle. What will you do then? Be grateful there are people willing to stand up and fight for your rights to freedom and liberty. As the famous old saying goes: First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a socialist. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a trade unionist. Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a Jew. Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me. Good luck all." Good for you mate Indeed, Red Flags, they're everywhere. I've watch footage of German Police using measuring sticks to make sure the protesters are the right distance apart in Hamburg. (Hilarious and Scary) German 'euthanasia' clinics refusing the unvaccinated the right to ease their pain and suffering with dignity. It's shameful and I will not stay silent. Silence is complicity. Period. They say, Think Globally, Act Locally but look around the world at the insanity going on right now. Life is short, even in its longest days.

One of the most common traits I see in people like yourself is the holier than thou, arrogant superiority that allows you to think that you are somehow more enlightened than everyone else. Just because following some rules that are stipulated for the good of society fits in with your crazy narrative that your rights are being impinged, it doesn't mean that they are necessarily linked. Correlation doesn't mean causation. Enjoy your superspreader event and good luck with inevitable illness. Hopefully you won't take up a hospital bed that someone more worthy needs.

"Best bit about the march, especially if it gets on the news, is at least the majotity/ rest of us can see who's on it. Can't see many would want to play there then. So they are then stuck with play with other anti Vax,, or what ever you want to call them... freedom marchers?. And they can wipe each other out. But when they end up hospitalised,, which many do, and nearly all beg for the vaccine , it's too late. But they have then taken a bed from someone else, who may eventually die because of their actions. I do wonder if an infected person would go out on a meet, and actually tell you they are infected if offered a bonk.?" They can beg all they want, but the vax isn't given to inpatients xx

"Some unnecessary comments in here considering the OP was only asking who was going. ^This " Fair comment. I will put my hand up in admission. I was replying to another poster who asked why the marchers were doing it. In reply to the OP, no, I won't be going as I am waiting to be called in to hospital as soon as possible and the current rapid spread of omicron is already threatening my chances of that happening. I am not questioning their right to demonstrate but their timing and perceived urgency is ill thought out. Right now, during the already thoughtless Christmas shopping and mingling season, is not a clever time for people to travel from other parts of the country to central London and then disperse again as possible newly acquired virus carriers. There are plenty of other ways, with the availability of modern communications, of making one's views public. Save the travelling mingling and marching option for a less dangerous time.

Not to mention this government is currently making it harder to vote in democratic elections, giving itself the power to revoke people's citizenship, and looking into how it can overturn court decisions it doesn't like. "People jumping on the OP with shitty comments (as usual), without even knowing what the rally is for! There was a pro-choice rally in Liverpool last week. Lots attended (Vaxxed and unvaxxed!), asking for freedom of choice regarding the vaccine. It was peaceful and not publicised at all (strangely!). " If nobody kicked off it’s not news worthy We one has the choice to go get vaccinated or not and nobody is holding them down to vaccinate them. But equally people and businesses have the right to not deal with non vaccinated people as well

"Is anyone going to the March this afternoon? Would you go if you had someone to go with? Happy to see if we can organise meeting up with anyone like minded while there." organising a March the weekend before Xmas when there is a more infectious form of the virus in the region you are marching in against the thing you are marching against seems like a smart thing to do… Can anyone say super spreader event!!! And remember if you get it now, your 10 days self isolation will likely include both Xmas and new year’s!!!!!

"Is anyone going to the March this afternoon? Would you go if you had someone to go with? Happy to see if we can organise meeting up with anyone like minded while there." No. There is nothing worth protesting against. This is a "protest" of entitled first world privilege. There are millions of people who would love to have the vaccines that you are scorning. Just as they would love have the freedoms that you claim are being infringed and the education and access to information that you are misapplying. Did anyone complain about travel vaccinations before? Well, congratulations, you now live somewhere where they are necessary and need regular boosters: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/travel-vaccinations/jabs/

Of course there will be an election but the changes to electoral rules requiring photo ID to vote and boundary changes will disenfranchise c.6million people (totally coincidentally from groups most likely to not vote conservative) meaning that this Govt are doing all they can to stack the deck in their favour.

"Is anyone going to the March this afternoon? Would you go if you had someone to go with? Happy to see if we can organise meeting up with anyone like minded while there." Once a protest will happen both against the stupidity of anti-vaccers and against lockdown, probably I will be there. But would not march together with those who are PART of the problem... I'm very much against lockdowns but I bet 80% of these protesters are non-vacced. What if we told you that we will reserve a certain amount of hospital beds for the non-vacced covid patients, as much as do not make the NHS overwhelmed, so other treatments don't need to wait. If those bads are full.... Well... Sorry... It was your choice. But no more lockdown ever. Yes, I think I would march for that.

" Your last two paragraphs are spot on. Covid has provided a perfect smokescreen for this proto-fascist government to slowly and quietly slip more through the legislature (in the form of ever more amendments to bills) that is without doubt eroding our democracy and helping to consolidate their power. So your confident then that come 2nd May 2024 there will be no General Election? Of course there will be an election but the changes to electoral rules requiring photo ID to vote and boundary changes will disenfranchise c.6million people (totally coincidentally from groups most likely to not vote conservative) meaning that this Govt are doing all they can to stack the deck in their favour. "

But seriously, stop making assumptions about me or anyone else. The only thing you know about me is that I probably support the message behind today's march. It really should be all of us together against the machine (the real villains in all this). But instead, they've got us pointing fingers at each other. They've successfully divided us. Ask yourself why the politicians and civil servants didn't think it was a risk last year when they were having parties every night? What magic formula did they have that gave them protection against the virus that the rest of us didn't have? Why does Boris tell us to wear masks on trains but didn't feel the need to wear one himself yesterday? What has he done that keeps him more protected than we are? Same with Peston. He's also more protected than the rest of us are, how? If your main concern is NHS bed capacity, have you asked yourself why hospital bed capacity had halved in 30 years? And reduced by around 5,000 in the last 2 years? Where's the recruitment campaign to dramatically increase nurses and doctors? Are you sure this is a pandemic? If so, where's your anger at the mismanagement by NHS management? Keep the peace everyone, remember we're all on the same side...

"Some unnecessary comments in here considering the OP was only asking who was going. ^This Fair comment. Save the travelling mingling and marching option for a less dangerous time." Yep

But now they take to the streets! i doubt they voted tory lol half the people at these protests turn out wenever there is a protest about anything, also i cant see anyone who voted tory agreeing with a corbyn" It's a different Corbyn. Good luck all. Good for you mate Indeed, Red Flags, they're everywhere. " I saw the same footage, still shocked about what I saw, is this the future I asked my friend, they replied no way, this is now.

I do wonder if an infected person would go out on a meet, and actually tell you they are infected if offered a bonk.? They can beg all they want, but the vax isn't given to inpatients xx" No but they could be given ivermectin & they'd be trotting off home pretty soon but there's no money in that for big pharma.

They could be given iInvermectin and trotting off to hospital. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-58170809.amp 'more than a third of 26 major trials of the drug for use on Covid have serious errors or signs of potential fraud. None of the rest show convincing evidence of ivermectin's effectiveness. Dr Kyle Sheldrick, one of the group investigating the studies, said they had not found "a single clinical trial" claiming to show that ivermectin prevented Covid deaths that did not contain "either obvious signs of fabrication or errors so critical they invalidate the study". Major problems included: The same patient data being used multiple times for supposedly different people Evidence that selection of patients for test groups was not random Numbers unlikely to occur naturally Percentages calculated incorrectly Local health bodies unaware of the studies'

Let me fix it for you: These are very different to the usual protesters - they come from all walks of life and political persuasions and in the vast majority are decent people who are at their wits end with what they’ve experienced over the last 20 months. You know, people who are worried as to how they will keep a roof over their heads, that have seen lockdowns in their various guises do more harm than good, that can’t see an end to this madness. Yesterday was an opportunity for them to show their frustrations and desperation and the unfortunately actions of a few idiots have provided the headlines.

Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a trade unionist. Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a Jew. Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me. Good luck all."

Good luck all. It's not even vaguely relevant, the above was written in relation to actual persecution, tyranny, oppression and yes genocide.. The current situation is absolutely not the same.. Trotting out references to the mass murder by fascists of millions is factually wrong and pretty offensive.. it's just so over dramatic and insensitive to actual victims of oppression. Not to mention this government is currently making it harder to vote in democratic elections, giving itself the power to revoke people's citizenship, and looking into how it can overturn court decisions it doesn't like. If you're concerned about freedom these things should worry you much more than anything covid has brought to us. "

"The authoritarian 'left' pro-lockdown enthusiasts are getting extremely angry as they lose control of the narrative. Just listen to the ugly intolerant language they use against everyone else. Very revealing" I know, right? Through these forums and online, they deride people for watching mainstream news. Baa baa sheeple, they say. They mock the right and say they'll be dead soon for being part of a terrible medical experiment. Only the left lockdowners will be exempt from the righteous revival of the Nuremberg trials. It's the lockdowners standing outside parliament with nooses. They call themselves pure blooded, placing themselves into a self appointed elite. They cry that there is a vast infringement on liberty, painting themselves as Jewish, voluntarily donning yellow stars. Sickening, morally bankrupt rhetoric. They should be ashamed.

And they believe there will be a great awakening, a great uprising. One day the poor persecuted - err - lefty lockdowners will be vindicated. Or something.

"Spoke to some really nice ppl too who have done their own research and have decided they don't want the vaccine This bit says it all. 100% nailed it. Some random punter watches some YouTube video published by anti-vax Doug from Florida and thinks that is proper "research" and carries more weight than actual scientific research conducted by virologists. You assume that!! How do you know what they have researched. There are plenty of doctors, scientists and Cardiologists who wont be given the time of day by msm. You believe what you want to!" No, there are not "plenty". How many out of the global population of doctors and more specifically virologists and epidemiologists?

"YouGov poll in yesterday's Times: Opposition to banning indoor meetings with people from other households: 62% Opposition to banning indoor meeting people from other households on Christmas Day: 68% The polls have been unrelentingly in favour of more and more restrictions. Until now. Expect more extreme anger from the lockdown enthusiasts" Why do you consider folks who don't want vulnerable people to die a slow horrible death "lockdown enthusiasts"?

That doesn't mean the general public doesn't understand why they're needed, or they won't comeply, or if imposed they'll riot in the streets. Turkeys don't vote for Christmas day. Winston

"The public is now seeing through this nonsense. Opinion poll for The Times, reported last night on Guido website: 60% opposed to pub and restaurant closures; 65% opposed to closure of non-essential shops. And much more. Worth a look" There were similar opinions on smoking bans and drink driving and wearing seatbelts and domestic violence being acceptable. Go figure.
