Wonder if they would be prepared to answer a question on residual vaccine build up and the potential effects of increased dosages over decreased frequency?
Are they sure it is safe to administer boosters over a shorter time period (since 2nd dose) and how can they possibly know this as we have only been administering the vaccine for one year?
Will they issue a tweaked booster every time their is a variant of concern? If so then do they know the impact of continual boosters on the body? How do they know that?
Why do ALL medicines have a maximum dosage over a given period and these covid vaccines don’t?
Only the Flu vaccine (as far as I know) has an annual “booster” to deal with virus mutations. No other vaccine requires such a high frequency of boosters (most are at least 10yr plus). |

Too much to hope for."
I shouldn’t think it will be too much longer especially if the bye election tomorrow doesn’t go well. The 1922 committee hawks are circling round Bo Jo...............

The add onto that list all illnesses related to smoking, alcohol, obesity, drugs, speeding RTAs etc.
Where would you draw the line?

I don’t think we would know the answer to any of the above questions just yet. Only time will tell as more research is done and more data comes through.
Boris’ priority at the moment is to prevent further restrictions by encouraging more people to get jabbed, and that is what he is likely to focus on at 5pm today. |

I don't know the details, but those on vaccine trials where the vaccine hasn't been approved (Novavax and Valneva) are having to be re-jabbed and they've said it's safe. That's four in as little as first dose in May. |

The deeper you go, the more pressure is applied to the watch - hence the difference between water resistant and waterproof so I do believe that testing where the cut-off is, is absolutely essential to make that differentiation and to prove a claim!

I can assure you as someone working with those that have benefited hugely from the protection from the vaccines... they dont cure it but they are still doing a damned good job. Why do ALL medicines have a maximum dosage over a given period and these covid vaccines don’t?
Only the Flu vaccine (as far as I know) has an annual “booster” to deal with virus mutations. No other vaccine requires such a high frequency of boosters (most are at least 10yr plus).
I don't know the details, but those on vaccine trials where the vaccine hasn't been approved (Novavax and Valneva) are having to be re-jabbed and they've said it's safe. That's four in as little as first dose in May.
"they've said its safe" the words of comfort. "
I have my fourth dose on Friday. I'll let you know |

"PM news conference at 5pm
Boris Johnson will lead a Downing Street news conference this evening, it has been confirmed.
The prime minister will be joined by England's chief medical officer Professor Chris Whitty and Dr Nikki Kanani, medical director of primary care for NHS England.
The briefing is expected to focus on the booster jabs rollout
Wonder if they would be prepared to answer a question on residual vaccine build up and the potential effects of increased dosages over decreased frequency?
Are they sure it is safe to administer boosters over a shorter time period (since 2nd dose) and how can they possibly know this as we have only been administering the vaccine for one year?
Will they issue a tweaked booster every time their is a variant of concern? If so then do they know the impact of continual boosters on the body? How do they know that?

You don't honestly believe that they have manufactured a "tweaked booster" in this space of time for Omicron?!
Of course not. The national policy seems to be "well the first two didn't work so we'll just up the dosage and hope for the best." Which will probably be the plan for the next variant. And the one after that.
Like the flu vaccine?
Which has been around for a long time, only gets issued once a year (optionally) and does not involve bribery, bullying or coercion to receive."
Plus... If you don't get it.. Nobody goes after you as if you are the spawn of Satan and blames you for the nhs, and other people catching flu. |

Bribery? They are both vaccines, covid is far more ‘deadly ‘ than flu though, I am sure it will end up as a once a year jab once they devise a suitable vaccine |

"Good grief. Can people really not think for themselves?! These journalists are ridiculous as always.
"Uggh do you think people should go to big parties where they may catch covid and pass it on to many other people?"
"Oooh the numbers are going up. Must be someone else's fault."
Some can, most can’t, try a trip on public transport and you will see "
Fair point.
We're doomed. |

"I have shares in Pfizer so annual vaccination is great for my wallet. I hope there is a new variation every year so we can keep making and selling more.
Great to be making money off other people's misery and from established criminal companies
Bit confused.
What crime and when were Pfizer charged, what sentence did they receive.
Thanks in advance.
Oh, it's Pfizer - they didn't get a sentence, they get fined. Google is your friend my friend.
"
Ok thanks.
God, I see Google as a tool, not my friend.
Friends to me are folks I meet in the pub, on holiday, parties, infact anywhere I can actually touch them.
Google is a tool to help me find information.
Facebook friends, nah, give them a miss.

what makes you say the first two didnt work? I can assure you as someone working with those that have benefited hugely from the protection from the vaccines... they dont cure it but they are still doing a damned good job. We have not lost 1 resident to covid this winter so far... we lost a lot before the vaccines "
Fair enough, saying "they don't work" may of been an overstatement, obviously they have had a beneficial effect for some people (mostly those with underlying conditions).
But the requirement to have a "top up" after just 3 months indicates that they aren't the solution promised. |
