Should your vaccine status be compulsory on a meeting site?
No judgement just a question to see what others thought, I would be okay displaying my vaccine status on here or somewhere else x |

Somewhere in Co. Down |
It's not something I'd ask about if I was going to meet anyone. I'm vaccinated what others choose to do is not my business. I do find people having it on their profile tho a bit off putting especially when it's used as tho it should influence my decision to meet them. And even more so when it's sent in a first message. |

It is not compulsory to be vaccinated so why should it be compulsory to display your status ? "
Unfortunately I think we are heading in that direction |

It's a helpful point that may only be as reliable as all of the 13" etc cock measurements that profiles state.
I'd add it to the site. The site may feel that they could be accountable for data and risks that they cannot validate though |

How would anyone know the vaccine status was genuine and given that the unvaccinated are more at risk from the vaccinated why is it important. If anyone is morally opposed to meeting unvaccinated people or are vulnerable they probably wouldn't risk meeting anyway. |

It is actually something I have thought about, I am fully vaccinated and I suppose I would prefer to meet someone who is also vaccinated but people lie, just like they lie about other things so in my opinion is would not work |

It is private medical information and absolutely nobody's business whatsoever. It's between you and your doctor.
There are privacy laws in place to protect your private medical information, and for good bloody f**king reason! |

That's been in the Republic of Ireland and many other countries before the UK.
And there is many a person in the legal profession who will tell you that it is not legal to be asking for that kind of information to enter any premises or business. |

Does this sound abusive to you?
My friend's husband won't let her visit friends or family.
He's made her stop all contact with them unless it's by phone or computer.
He reads and censors her comments on social media.
He makes her feel like she's going crazy for thinking that he's controlling her and that she's being ungrateful, after all he's only doing this because of how much he cares for her.
He doesn't want her going to the gym anymore so she doesn't go.
He doesn't want her going to work anymore, so she doesn't go.
He told her, you've got to rely on me for income.
He doesn't let her go out anymore unless it's for necessities, and when she does he makes sure he has people in place to guilt trip her about it.
By now she is so weary, scared and miserable she will do anything just to have a life and feel less lonely.
He wants her to have a medical procedure done, that she really doesn't want to have. He says if she does it for him, he'll let her start going to the movies and for nights out with her friends again.
But even then, he wants her to download something on her phone so that he can trace her movements and keep track of exactly where she is every single day. He says it reassures him and that its for her own good - because only he can keep her safe.
And to top it all off he's always telling her he's only doing this because he cares.
Did I say husband?
I meant Government.
Here's the funny thing in society. We're outraged if we do this to a spouse, but when the government do it to us, we stand by and allow it to happen. |

This is very enlightening, not for the message because that is comparing apples to sausages.
It is a real example of the way these types of messages manipulate using real example of suffering a person could go through. It has been hijacked to attract those that this message resinates with, in the hope of selling the narrative that is hidden within.
This is exactly how scams work, exactly the same and if you can't see that....
This type of post should be pulled to protect those that would feel emotionally effected by it and then form an opinion based on someone trying to dupe them with emotional reference and making lifestyle choices based on scamming techniques. |

Lol. In this scenario, you equate to the ‘friend’ she has telling her that if she grins and bears it, without complaining, one day he might stop. |

And in the meantime, she has stopped living life, terrified, being miserable, her family and friends have stopped living life, terrified, feeling miserable.
They comply, terrified, being miserable, the economy goes to shit, there's nothing left to live for because you've been terrified of a disease which is entirely treatable but that information has been stopped getting to you by the powers that be.
While other control tactics are put in place so you'll never make an autonomous decision yourself again. |

Without doubt the best post of the day.... and its only 12.12pm"

Apart from as a statement of what you have had done; what would be the point?
Does having been vaccinated mean you are not infected?
No.
Or that you are a power risk?
No.
Does a negative LFT test mean you are not infected?
No. A negative test result is only 50/50 right/wrong.
Also: A test result is only valid at the time of test. A mile down the road.... |

""READ?
Does this sound abusive to you?
My friend's husband won't let her visit friends or family. **Because she may infect her elderly relatives and in an act of misguided kindness, Kill them.
He's made her stop all contact with them unless it's by phone or computer. **In saying it twice it reinforces the mistaken act of kindness and turns it into one that protects them.
He reads and censors her comments on social media. **Someone has to protect the dull-witted from the downright stupid.
He makes her feel like she's going crazy for thinking that he's controlling her and that she's being ungrateful, after all he's only doing this because of how much he cares for her. **Any act of protective kindness can make you feel that way.
He doesn't want her going to the gym anymore so she doesn't go. **And in doing so protects others from harm.
He doesn't want her going to work anymore, so she doesn't go. **And in doing so protects others from harm.
He told her, you've got to rely on me for income. **Thank God that there is a financial support network in these terrible times.
He doesn't let her go out anymore unless it's for necessities, and when she does he makes sure he has people in place to guilt trip her about it. **And in doing so plays her part in the overall protective scheme of things.
By now she is so weary, scared and miserable she will do anything just to have a life and feel less lonely. **She is not alone, the whole country feels it too.
He wants her to have a medical procedure done, that she really doesn't want to have. He says if she does it for him, he'll let her start going to the movies and for nights out with her friends again. **But he leaves the final choice to her.
But even then, he wants her to download something on her phone so that he can trace her movements and keep track of exactly where she is every single day. He says it reassures him and that its for her own good - because only he can keep her safe.**But he leaves the final choice to download and install it to her.
And to top it all off he's always telling her he's only doing this because he cares. **And by now she is undersatnding that it's the right thing to care.
Did I say husband?
I meant Government. **Oh! We knew you meant Government all along.
Here's the funny thing in society. We're outraged if we do this to a spouse, but when the government do it to us, we stand by and allow it to happen." **Not even close to being the same thing.
**There is always two sides to every view.
While other control tactics are put in place so you'll never make an autonomous decision yourself again."
Yet another conspiracy thread then. |
