As per the BBC

Definition of 'fully vaccinated' will be kept under review - No 10

No 10 has said it will keep under review the definition of the term "fully vaccinated" with regards to a Covid pass.

I'm sure there were people saying that no such thing would happen

And yet there was someone on here a few days back telly the vaccinated that they were no longer fully vaccinated. Fairly typical of what’s happening , they read something, don’t understand it and then report it as a fact and spread it amongst the conspiracy theorists.

Are you sure they weren't telling people who haven't had the booster that they weren't fully vaccinated because that's all over the news that 2 jabs aren't enough to cover you for Omicron and you need the booster to be 75% covered. That's why there is now this mad rush to get the population boosted before the end of the year

All over the place! Northwesr, , Southwest

Fully vaccinated in a COVID context will likely mean being updated with your "regular" booster as it's becoming increasingly apparent. A grace period might be given to be up to date after which if you've declined your top up, your "privileges" will expire and you're as good, or bad, as an unvaxxed heathen.

Welcome to a brave new world ...

Because that description does not fit the current covid vacination which is not providing 100 percent cover. I don't know of a different word that describes the current covid vacination we are all having to protect ourselves from serious illness or death.

It's an experimental medical treatment .

It is not a vaccine.

But if termed vaccine, the manufacturers, distributors and those administering it, are indemnified against liability by the government of the country purchasing the vaccine.

So if an adverse reaction is identified and sued for, the government, or you, the taxpayer, pays the damages rather than the manufacturer.

Strangely enough, when something new starts, monumental volumes are learned about it, especially when it has huge significance to the world and its citizens.

Of course our understanding and expectations change on a progressive basis. Square wheels became obsolete with the progress to rounder ones.

Many vaccines were devoloped onto the technologies and expertise that we had. The virus was new and we had to learn fast. We did. And to everyone's advantage.

The vaccines have given freedom to all. We can only be grateful for such amazing, positive results.

As things progress, we can learn morw, especially if you screen out the unqualified snake oil sellers peddling BS

If they haven't had research published that's peer reviewed and relevant to this in the last year, skip past them.

hahah yes.

They need to convince the unvaccinated that the jabs work in order for them to get their first 2 doses,

Whilst at the same time convince the vaccinated (loose term at the moment) that they don't work in order to get their boosters.

There telling the un jabbed to get the jab because it works and the telling the jabbed to get the booster because the jab doesn’t work. All the while telling everyone that the unjabbed are putting the jabbed in danger by not getting a jab that didn’t protect some of the jabbed very well as some of the jabbed are still dying and being hospitalised like the unjabbed!

Nice use of the word jab...

In fairness its long overdue they recognised, admitted and communicated that the effectivity of the vaccines wanes over time. No point telling someone they are safe because they had a jab that works for a maximum of 6 months... 9 months ago. Its past its best before date.

So you have a problem with the OED; take it up with them.

Many vaccines (e.g. Tetanus, annual Flu jab, various vaccines required when you go abroad, etc.) have always required boosters, or had expiry dates. Nothing has changed in my lifetime.

Careful not to imply, or feed misinformation to those that do not understand science.

I hate needles and will avoid injections whenever possible. But I’m double-vaccinated plus booster last week. Do the same, get your vaccinations, wear your masks.

When this vacine first appeared we were PROMISED have your two jabs and normal life can resume. Yet another lie now it looks like that want us to top up frequently for who knows how long. Sorry not doing it I had the two and that’s my lot. When I was about twelve had a BCG jab never had to have it again since as I work with tools I’ve had fair few cuts and had couple of tetanus jabs they last good few years. These new jabs only lasting few months so are they really any good.

"When this vacine first appeared we were PROMISED have your two jabs and normal life can resume. "

I think there were plenty of tinfoil hats who warned it wouldn't be the end.

And I guarantee you, it's only the beginning.

The vaccine was promised to be the key to freedom, back to normality.

Conspiracy theorists would have told everyone that it is the lock. Sign up to the vaxx passport and you sign up for the social credit system

"I’m at odds with the term ‘ Vaccine/Vaccinated’myself

This is from the Oxford English Dictionary

1.

a substance used to stimulate the production

of antibodies and provide immunity against

one or several diseases, prepared from the

causative agent of a disease, its products, or

a synthetic substitute, treated to act as an

antigen without inducing the disease:

Dictionaries are always out of date

Explain a vaccine/vaccination for me then

Because that description does not fit the current covid vacination which is not providing 100 percent cover. I don't know of a different word that describes the current covid vacination we are all having to protect ourselves from serious illness or death.

It's an experimental medical treatment .

It is not a vaccine.

But if termed vaccine, the manufacturers, distributors and those administering it, are indemnified against liability by the government of the country purchasing the vaccine.

So if an adverse reaction is identified and sued for, the government, or you, the taxpayer, pays the damages rather than the manufacturer.

Now I'll go and put my tinfoil hat back on

Do you realise this compensation procedure is the same for every single vaccine you have in the uk? It has been lime that for many years and is not just for the covid vaccines. "

That's exactly my point .

But the Covid "vaccine" doesn't do what traditional vaccines do - stop you getting the virus AND stop transmission of the virus.

BUT pharmaceutical companies wouldn't have gotten liability indemnity if this magical "vaccine" were branded as the experimental biological agent that it is.

Get the drift

No jabs and we are still both breathing 2 years on !! The big man has already said the first 2 do absolutely nothing now ? So if we want to start do we just jump to the booster ? Plus if you’ve only had 2 without the booster your no longer fully vaccinated ? It’s all a load of shit !!

When you realise that it contains aborted foetal DNA, ethylene oxide, Graphene Oxide, bovine cells, etc, maybe as a critical thinker, you might start to reclassify it as a bio-weapon, designed to cause blood clotting and damage to the heart and arteries.

In this case, Ignorance is NOT bliss. Ignorance is the very height of stupidity.

I think your tinfoil hat is a little tight. You have obviously read a lot on Facebook. None of the current vaccines contain foetal DNA or bovine cells. They don't contain graphene oxide either and certainly not 99% as suggested on social media,if that was the case it wouldn't come out the syringe. No ethylene oxide in it either. It is used in some test kits to keep things sterile. You do know ethylene oxide derivatives are in everything make up shampoo, soap etc. You do know that covid infection is far more likely to cause blood clotting than any of the current vaccines. Ignorance is no excuse for blindly believing and repeating stuff you read on Facebook with no basis on reality or fact.

Oh Lord ?

Another one who hasn't realized what it means to go through all stages of clinical trials AND wait for the very final collation of results and conclusions while trial participants are being monitored over a longer term.

Not that it matters, considering Pfizer, I believe, have in the meantime offered all trial participants who took the saline the "vaccine" meaning there's no control group anymore and what's an experiment without a control group?! Absolutely worthless.

These "vaccines" are still under emergency authorisation because all stages of clinical trial have not been completed.

And no, I'm not going to search for the link to prove myself. You can do it yourself.

And gone through "every test other vaccines have gone through" - if you trust these pharmaceutical companies to have done that, I feel sorry for you. I've heard plenty of whistleblowers who have clearly stated that is not the case. In fact I have heard plenty of experts who will tell you that even the animal trial stage shouldn't have taken place (if it allegedly did) because of the results from previous experiments with mRNA vaccines.

Over my dead body will my children be injected with this crap. They're not at risk. The risk of adverse reactions far outweighs the risk of Covid. And I won't be drawing you a picture of what I think every parent should be done with who gives permission for their child to be injected.

I'm not going to take this stuff either.

And just for the record, as I have pointed out in a similar post - I believe the reason you are taking a "vaccine", is to get your vaxx passport or digital ID which will feed into what will be the new up and coming social credit system. And I ain't going there full stop. I've explained that in a different post.

Trying to have a conversation or discussion to change my mind or those who hold my conviction is futile

"Here we go, resorting to bribery and goal post moving already.

Despite the actual severity of this new variant not even being established yet "

To reliably establish the severity of the variant people need to die. It would appear that after 147,000 deaths to date BoJo is too chicken to crank up another few thousand to prove the severity before reacting.

What they are not reporting at this time is the significant increase in deaths of people without covid who die at home, in ambulances and on gurneys in hospital corridors because the ICU bed they would have occupied is being occupied by an unvaccinated covid patient.

And actually could mostly be addressed by improving the communications. If they just said... "look the effectivity of the vaccines doesn't last much more than 3 months and right now we need to keep everyones defences as high as possible because 40 per cent defence is better than 10 per cent defence and in conjunction with some mask wearing which is another 10 per cent and staying away from people a bit, which is another 20 per cent and working from home when we are ill, which is another 30 per cent... Well we can do a bit better, not have so many infections. Because infections are what lead to serious illness and hospitalisation in some cases." (numbers made up by the way).

But instead we've had the ridiculous narrative that a jab you had 12 months ago is still as effective and is your armour, when the numbers have very clearly been showing it isn't. Compounded by the covid pass which tells people they are "safe" to mingle when clearly they are not.

Lastly a little bit of honesty about the relative risks by age and other risk factor would be handy and help people make better decisions. Instead we have one tune to play only... Get a jab, get a jab, get another jab because the first two have stopped doing what we need. But by the way the unvaxxed are pure evil, those who have had one jab are almost as bad and those who have only had two are just a little bit naughty.

If they got the communications right it would take away a lot of the conflict.

Sadly, when dealing with humanity, it does not matter what the facts are. It only matters what people believe the facts are.

For example, the world is full of religions and religious persons who follow them yet there is virtually no scientific evidence to support their beliefs. Yet they will die in a ditch, fingers in their ears going "la la la la" defending what they believe in.

Do you wear a seat belt when you drive?

There was a huge opposition to seat belts when they first became law. They do not stop accidents but do give you a far better chance of surviving. Now they are accepted and no one complains any more that they are a restriction on freedom of choice and civil liberties. Sometimes Governments have to do what is good for the nation as a whole even if some do not want it.

2. We therefore need to roll out boosters sooner than originally planned to take account of the new variant as this appears to also reduce effectiveness of the vaccines.

3. Etc

I dislike the seatbelt analogy. It is overused and collapses under scrutiny when talking about being mandatory because a seatbelt is an external temporary factor applied to your body. A vaccine is a permanent irreversible change added inside your body. They are actually not comparable.

"Whats the end goal do you think?

Keep us having boosters on a yearly basis to keep us all compliant?

Restrict civil liberties across the globe creating a have and have not society?

Do you wear a seat belt when you drive?

There was a huge opposition to seat belts when they first became law. They do not stop accidents but do give you a far better chance of surviving. Now they are accepted and no one complains any more that they are a restriction on freedom of choice and civil liberties. Sometimes Governments have to do what is good for the nation as a whole even if some do not want it.

And sometimes governments do a Hitler , like Germany from 1933 - 1945.

Do a hitler ???

I hope you don’t mean what I think you mean ?

Grow ridiculous mustaches??

I'd love to be able to grow a moustache

Instead I can cut out a yellow star instead

So your arts and craft game is on point definitely a bonus I suppose

New Skills learned during lockdown perhaps? "

Maybe but I’m gracefully walking away from this one !

I haven't got an artistic bone in my body nor do I handle scissors gracefully but hey - one makes do

And I'd say, in years to come, nobody will have walked away from this one gracefully or unscathed - nobody has already.

And I do wish us "conspiracy nutters" will have to eat our words, rather than the other way around - but should the day come where these vaccine passports turn to the digital ID in order to implement social credits, then I will tell everybody I warned - "I told you so since April 2020 - but you wouldn't listen, on your own head be it for watching on silently while the crazies fought for you and your children's freedom". Because freedom is what Covid is about.

Did you also smash up your phone when the 5g masts were being pulled down by mobs? How do you choose where to find information on a subject such as covid?

I generally don't condone violence unless it is to protect myself in self defense.

5G, do viruses exist, did a man land on the moon, is history of the second world war reported accurately, is deep state a thing, what about Freemasons, the Illuminati, lizard people - nowt to do with the direct impact a digital ID, one digital currency from one Central Bank, carbon credits and social credits will have on the free movement of a nation's people.

5G maybe, as it's needed to implement the technology.

As for choosing information sources, those experts who warned early on are a good starting point

I can see why it is under review, they dont know it themselves, cos if one miss their booster they are classed as an unvaccinated person. I wonder how a person who takes it feels about it?

Surely the other way around.

Most of we sceptics were arguing from Day One that there should be shielding and support for the vulnerable while the rest of us got on with our lives.

I think that argument should now be resurrected

As someone whose first two Covid doses don't count for stupid administrative reasons - I'm on jab three and it only counts as jab one.

It only bothers me because those vaccines would be better off given to someone else.

I probably won't be officially fully vaccinated until my actual jab five. *shrug*

Except he got it wrong. Hitler was not voted into power by a majority of Germans. The whole rise to power of the Nazis is a bit more complex than that (and fascinating).

However, after he gained full control, the German people as a whole (with some exceptions) were complicit by too often turning a blind eye to what was happening and the slow steady erosion of rights enacted by the Nazis.

And how do you think he managed to exterminate Jews - there's an interesting article on the ncbi, if you look up Evelyn Shuster and Naomi Baumslag.

I quote from the article:

"Jews were labeled disease carriers and a public health risk to justify the creation of ghettos. Containing typhus epidemics provided a rationale for quarantine, ghettoization, and “delousing baths” or “disinfection.”"

And

"But ghettoization, of course, fueled rather than contained the epidemic, and this, in turn, reinforced the “prevention” strategy, i.e. disinfection. German and Austrian doctors favored overcrowded and unsanitary conditions to permit the epidemic to flourish, killing as many people as possible."

And you don't think that people like myself will fear this will happen to us?!

Exactly "

My point was not to inform about Hitler's rise to power. That was introduced by another poster.

My point was are those declaring they want freedom from vaccination, masks, social distancing, lockdown, working from home, freedom to travel etc etc happy to accept that the price of their freedom will be paid for by the death of others and possibly their own family members.

And sometimes governments do a Hitler , like Germany from 1933 - 1945.

The majority of German people supported Hitler as he was democratically elected. So he was not forcing the majority to go to war.

Hitler's worst crime was exterminating the jews. I do wonder sometimes if some who now cry "Freedom, freedom, FREEDOM!!!" want that for themselves at the expense of the death of the old and vulnerable.

Considering that the likes of the Red Cross (as indicated in the article) was complicit, amongst many doctors and nurses who stayed silent?!

We know what happened to them afterwards, don't we?"

And then look at the Yellow Note and VAERS reporting system for adverse reactions and deaths to our magical "vaccines" and how it is treated not only by the general public but by the medical experts and those who regulate it!

Are these occurrences actively investigated? Where is the information published on that? Not that it's worth squat, when it comes from a government agency or a body which is funded by the government! Where's the impartiality there, hey?

Wow, you've summarised the Rise of Adolf Hitler in three sentences.

No need to watch the Hitler channel now you've unpacked it all.

Exactly

My point was not to inform about Hitler's rise to power. That was introduced by another poster.

My point was are those declaring they want freedom from vaccination, masks, social distancing, lockdown, working from home, freedom to travel etc etc happy to accept that the price of their freedom will be paid for by the death of others and possibly their own family members."

Not if the f**king information how to successfully treat this disease is put out there by the powers that be - and these treatments are out there and they have been kept from the public.

The end goal of who? The end goal of Boris is re-election, anyone who believes there is any more to it than that really doesn’t have the slightest idea how this country operates.

But hey, keep believing what you are told to believe. No one read what the doctor who first discovered this in South Africa has said about Britain’s reaction.

Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere

While science is a series of funerals... In softer science, it's less the case. It's a balance of evidence given there tend to be confounding factors, to show a model is useful.

Thats why there are papers on both sides of the argument. And then meta analysis of the studies.

What's the evidence on lock down being ineffective ? That's an interesting one I've not seen before.

And can I ask, is the dead matter left behind from covid? With the argument being that the test doesn't show if your contagious or not ... Only at some point you had covid?

Exactly

My point was not to inform about Hitler's rise to power. That was introduced by another poster.

My point was are those declaring they want freedom from vaccination, masks, social distancing, lockdown, working from home, freedom to travel etc etc happy to accept that the price of their freedom will be paid for by the death of others and possibly their own family members.

Not if the f**king information how to successfully treat this disease is put out there by the powers that be - and these treatments are out there and they have been kept from the public.

There are 1.4 million people employed by the NHS alone. Do you honestly believe that not one of them who knows there is a "cure" for covid-19 is prepared to whistleblow?

If BoJo's Conservatives presided over Britain being the first country to eradicate Covid-19 they would be greeted by so much ballot box love they would be in power for decades. What possible reason would they have not to cure people?

The point I'm making is, there are whistleblowers - being silenced! You don't want to hear it, so you don't dig deeper. Then there are those who are terrified of the consequences to their livelihoods and reputations - sound familiar?

I can guarantee you that every person on this platform has at least one conspiracy theorist friend or family member!!! Have you listened to them? Have you looked at the information they have access to? (And I'm not saying that some of this information isn't bullshit either, right!).

No, you blow them off as tinfoil hat wearers because the information they give you isn't "peer reviewed" and comes from sources who and which are discredited by "mainstreamers".

Principles of Science: you must always verify emperically when you do an intervention that the intervention in the real world has had the required effect.

If for a hypothesis there is negative evidence that comes out against it, the hypothesis is dead. One piece of negative evidence destroys the hypothesis - asymmetry of truth: you can have umpteen pieces of evidence to support a truth but having one negative finishes that hypothesis off.

There are plenty of papers published on lockdowns being ineffective, masks being ineffective (even harmful), and plenty of adverse reactions reported to the jabs yet they're still being advocated and implemented by our various governments.

You are not hearing us, you do not want to hear us because the truth is terrifying!!! And the media makes a lot of successful noise to blank the likes of us out!

And I didn't say that there is a cure but there are effective treatments.

Center for Evidence Based Medicine has information with regards to the PCR test. "PCR positives what do they mean?"

The detection of virus can relate to an old infection from months gone by, could be a false positive either. The quality of the PCR test depends on specificity and sensitivity - but it will never be able to tell you if the remnants are active or inactive, ever! That's where the presence of symptoms comes in, or a different type of testing, which is expensive obviously.

That's why there is now this mad rush to get the population boosted before the end of the year "

But that means in a 3 month you will be out of date and need a booster as they are now saing more than 3 months get a booster what next every 6 weeks

Restrict civil liberties across the globe creating a have and have not society?

The end goal of who? The end goal of Boris is re-election, anyone who believes there is any more to it than that really doesn’t have the slightest idea how this country operates."

There's a lot more to it than just 'Boris's re-election'.

There must be: the same thing is happening in so many countries.

Quite what is going on is open to debate... but there is far more going on than just one man's election. Very naive to say otherwise

I was listening to Dr Peter McCullough recently and he brought up the point that the WHO recommended stopping all asymptomatic testing.

See the WHO June 25 2021

Interim guidance

Widespread screening of asymptomatic individuals is not currently recommended strategy due to the significant costs associated with it and lack of operational effectiveness.

The CDC also modified its guidance on July 3rd 2021, effectively saying people without Covid 19 symptoms do not need testing.

Does that definitely say there's no asymptomatic spread? Pass, but I get the previous poster message.

"Three jabs in and still not ruling out lockdown for Xmas. Anyone had enough yet?"

Considering they are planning on 20+ million jabs over the next 16 days - when efficacy isn't established within the immune system for 2 to 4 weeks after while in those weeks, cases doubling every 2 to 3 days.

Is it really believable to think jabs alone will stop the Tidal Wave.

Not a chance, so carefully consider options while mixing in the next few weeks to prevent pulling yourself and family at risk.

We're running headlong into yet another lockdown. Advice isn't being followed by BOTH those that lead us and those out and about refusing to take the most basic of precautions to protect others.

Overrun the NHS, we're locked down again and it's already almost at capacity. It needed so much more than jabs!!

I agree with some of what you say. I think as well it's not just the last few weeks that have led us here... Its the last 6 months of extreme high infections and ignorance that get us here. The complete reliance on only one remedy, vaccines that have limited life. We walked into this on blissful ignorance. The public get what the public want.

369 MPs just voted for COVID passports, which provably don't work, which the government's own report said could make the spread worse, and which are a huge lurch towards a Communist social credit score-style 'papers please' dystopia.

Why do people on the internet always exaggerate to the most extreme and unlikely worst case scenario? It’s an odd thing.

Why not gravitate to the best case scenario? Or even better just accept what it is on face value that it’s just a temporary message that you have choice to participate in or not.

But nope everything is always doom and the end of the world and linked to a fictional dystopia. Proper first world problems. It’s nothing at all in the grand scheme of things.

Mask mandates should never have been politicised as a denial of freedom and rights, it's stupid childish and ridiculous.

I have been taking a family member to a sports club over spring, summer and autumn with other kids.

While sat in the same room as 35-45 other parents and guardians, only 4 have worn masks weekly in the room. Myself, another member of my own family and the parents of one other child who suffers acute asthma where catching COVID will more than likely kill him.

NOT ONE other parent in that room on any occasion have worn a mask since mandates were taken away. Mention anything, you're on the receiving end of a gob-full of foul abuse.

It has been suggested here I am a "lockdown masturbator". But the same, selfish, uncaring attitude of others has most certainly lead us into another lockdown. I have done the best I could as many others have done. But I am going to pay the price of lockdown as will many others who also did their best - due to the selfishness of a few.

The pandemic never went away, it was just put on the back burner with still high rates of infection and deaths and the news cycle flooded with petty rubbish.

Visiting 7x schools with direct instructions to wear masks over summer, out of 300-700 other parents present, less than 30 at each wearing masks.

You could say we only have ourselves to blame, but seriously, should those that cared and tried also be blamed?

40% of those infected admitted to not isolating and therefore give not give two hoots about anyone else they infected.

I hate wearing masks but this is not just about me, I wear one to protect those around me. I put a 'well done" message on another posting, culminating in abusive PM's.

Some of the rhetoric from the House of Commons in the last 24 hours is shocking when we are about to face an onslaught of infections and death.

I agree that COVID passports don't limit infection, but enforcement will certainly increases the take up of vaccination and that's the sole reason I support it.

No 10 has said it will keep under review the definition of the term "fully vaccinated" with regards to a Covid pass.

I'm sure there were people saying that no such thing would happen

"

There Is no such thing as “fully vaccinated “; you are only “temporarily vaccinated “ whilst your jab status remains in date and valid. The minute your booster becomes overdue (looking more and more likely to be every 3 months or so) ; then you fall into the “unvaccinated “ category until such stage you get your booster.

Get the drift "

The chicken pox vaccine doesn't stop you getting chicken pox or stop you transmitting it. It's still classed as a vaccine. So what's the difference?

"Mask mandates should never have been politicised as a denial of freedom and rights, it's stupid childish and ridiculous.

I agree that COVID passports don't limit infection, but enforcement will certainly increases the take up of vaccination and that's the sole reason I support it."

Some good points... But you're pushing water uphill wanting people to think slightly longer term than what their immediate wants and needs are. We have ourselves to blame for how this is going... Well ourselves and some god awful leaders and a lot of misrepresented / bad science.

I can see no positive at all in a covid pass that misleads people into thinking mass events and gatherings are safe..whentheir vaccines are way past their sell by dates.

The chicken pox vaccine doesn't stop you getting chicken pox or stop you transmitting it. It's still classed as a vaccine. So what's the difference?"

I couldn't give a fig what it's called or labelled... Surely all we need to know is how much it protects us, from what, how long it lasts for and what the risks and benefits it brings me. Certainly having 3 a year of a new vaccine is a concern to me as nobody knows long term impacts yet.

Public health scotland’s figures show that the majority of deaths are occurring among the vaccinated.

Secretary of state said in parliament when asked “how many people are actually ill” that, of the 337 omicron cases currently in England, not a single person has been hospitalised.

And yet here we are, most likely facing another lockdown.

When will people realise its all nonsense

Where does the definition mention 100 percent? Effectiveness will vary with the disease, viral strain, and individuals response to vaccine. Plus nearly all vaccines used require periodic booster or a coarse of several jabs.

Didn't want to drag a long post down here again. I totally agree a COVID Passport is a complete waste of time in regards to infection and transmission. But, if this is the most effective way for those refusing or failing to get vaccine, then the bigger picture is that they will realise it is better to get jabbed, the other alternative is compulsory vaccination.

Seems Pfizer, Moderna, and others are claiming 70% effective against being hospitalised with Omicron.

This means out of 100 people infected with Omicron, there is a chance that 30 will more than likely will end up in a hospital bed. This is a drastic increase from the less than 10% against Delta and other variants.

The other problem is many have being emboldened into a false sense of security in having the 2+1 jabs. I have two elderly relatives who 18 months ago were told to Shield.

Since being booster jabbed, they are behaving like they are invincible. You tell them to cut down the twice daily shopping trips with the response "I've had my jabs, I wear a mask and wash my hands".

Trying to explain that the mask is to protect others from them, not them from others. That the jabs are no guarantee that they won't catch and spread it and that there is a real world 30% chance of being taken to hospital and yet to be confirmed percentage, chance of dying.

Where has this come from as it is like they and many more have been brainwashed into believing they are safe by being jabbed. At 30% against 10%, it is by no means safe, just safer than no jabs. They are both in their 70s and I'm fed up of banging my head against the wall with them.

Considering the government are putting all eggs in one basket this month with jabs and a projected 1 million people infected by January. 30% of these needing hospital, this is potentially 3x higher rate of people in hospital during a wave of 100's of 1000's being infected daily..

Think you need to check your sources.

People with Omicron are being and have been admitted to hospital.

At least one so far has died after confirming infection of Omicron.

It takes 2 to 3 weeks for an infection to present at hospital- Omicron was discovered here 3 week ago, so admissions will start rising this week onwards.

Infection rates are up 50% from averaging 40,000 per day to 60,000 per day and set to rise exponentially.

Where is the nonsense?

Your figures are absurd. By 70% effective, that doesn’t mean 30% will be hospitalised. It means 70% of the people who would be hospitalised without vaccination, won’t be due to having the vaccine. The vast majority won’t be hospitalised whether vaxed or not. You’re talking like 300k will be hospitalised out of a million infections. don’t be daft.

"

The PCR test cannot distinguish between live, virulent virus and dead matter left behind. It is not a diagnostic tool.

Asymptomatic Covid is the biggest load of bullshit I've ever heard.

The people are perpetuating the situation we are in by not asking the right questions and acting to what I believe most people's core values would be.

You have been reduced to living 1930s Germany in the 21st century.

This is only the beginning.

Soft science? As opposed to hard science?

Is that like soft porn vs hardcore porn - you still get fucked, no?

Im sure if you dig, you'll find those papers. Ivor Cummins might give you a start.

That's where the presence of symptoms comes in, or a different type of testing, which is expensive obviously.

cool thanks. . I can't square off the dead virus comment with asymptomatic covid being bullshit. That feels contradictory. But let's not derail the thread today !!

"

As for asymptomatic infection, where transmission of infection from "asymptomatic cases" is concerned, not even the mainstream experts can come up with a decent paper that's published to prove it happens. You'd think with the amount of contact tracing that public money is squandered on, they'd be on the ball, wouldn't you?

Unless someone can enlighten me in this regard?

Those things may be bull shit but that doesn’t mean the narrative is honest. There is an in between.

There’s currently 6000 covid patients. Given there’s 200 nhs trust hospitals, that’s 30 per hospital. There are not covid patients spilling into corridors. They make up 5% of hospital beds currently. If we continue to have restrictions for each variant like this then this is it forever. It’s never ending.

1700 people die per day. Some have lost sense of any proportion.

"369 MPs just voted for COVID passports, which provably don't work, which the government's own report said could make the spread worse, and which are a huge lurch towards a Communist social credit score-style 'papers please' dystopia.

Thanks, imbeciles. We won't forget.

It’s nothing at all in the grand scheme of things."

Temporary message? After 21 months of this shit? What planet have you been living on?

You should give a fig what it's labelled if the difference between the term medical treatment and vaccine is whereby the manufacturer automatically is indemnified for liability for one but not the other. And this is the case for the term vaccine. And the definition of vaccine has changed, just like the WHO has changed the definition of pandemic - but nobody talks about that either. Because it suits the narrative.

Considering the profits these pharmaceutical companies are making and not an ounce of responsibility or accountability is on their heads - particularly with the kind of criminal history the likes of Pfizer has. You think these guys really give a toss about your health? They make money only when you are sick!!!

Being indemnified from the get go invites in being careless and wreckless when these kinds of sums of money are at stake. It reeks of duties of care and gross nnegligence being thrown out the window, which is exactly what's reported on alternative media, when they know billions are at stake and not one head will roll if things go wrong because they are indemnified.

I have had all three vaccinations and as the figures show they certainly have a major impact on the serious illness and death numbers which is undeniable. Although when they promoted the vaccine first off they did sell it more as protection from infection than lowering the seriousness of symptoms which is the main sell now. Not sure how effective it is against contracting covid. I disagree with compulsory vaccination which is the choice of the individual always. But I also agree that vaccinated people should have the opportunity to socialise in places where others have taken up the vaccine offer. I’m sure it is a small sacrifice for unvaccinated people to accept this, I’d certainly be happy to sacrifice things to uphold any moral stance I had had

Why should any perfectly healthy individual not be able to socialise, vaccinated or not, considering both can contract and transmit. IT MAKES NO SENSE bar to segregate and divide.

Are you begrudging those who chose not to - just because you took a risk and are now being spiteful? Because that's what the majority of you lot sound like:

This whole “both can catch and transmit it” thing is totally untrue and a misrepresentation of facts.

Actually, if you’re vaccinated you’re only 25% likely to catch it and transmit it.

So if there were 100 vaccinated people fully exposed to the virus. Only 25 of them would catch it and spread it. The other 75 would be fine.

If 100 unvaccinated were exposed to the virus, all 100 would catch and spread it.

Massive difference.

no not at all and I never implied that “I took the risk” and I doubt many seen it as that. Also I don’t think I implied anything of the sort that anyone is unwashed or a super spreader. Everyone deserves the same opportunity to health care as the next. You have made many assumptions and accusations far past what I had said. The people who have chosen not to take up on the vaccination seem to have a lot of hatred for those who support it. So can I ask you if you think the vaccine has made any difference to serious illness and deaths or do you believe that it has not helped??

"I have had all three vaccinations and as the figures show they certainly have a major impact on the serious illness and death numbers which is undeniable.

"We vaccinated took the risk, so we should have the freedom! No risk taken, no reward given. Punish those who wouldn't comply, wouldn't offer their body, didn't sacrifice for the greater good".

While at the same time trying to shame us for being super spreaders and shame us for taking up valuable hospital beds because we are the dirty and unwashed.

But no, Nazi Germany is not an apt comparison!!!

Massive difference."

So the 100 unvaccinated don't have any natural immunity and no immune system then? Don't be silly. You're just making stuff up.

I am not quoting any numbers or percentages but do we actually have any natural immunity to covid? We have had other vaccines over the years that have helped raise life expectancy. We had none or little natural protection against these diseases before then

Sorry but you have this completely wrong.

The 75% figure being quoted now by vaccine manufacturers is the same as the c.90% figure previously, that is IF YOU CATCH COVID the vaccine reduces the chance of developing serious symptoms by 75%.

I am not aware of any claims that the vaccines stop you catching Covid and we know it is still possible to catch and transmit. What the vaccines do for the majority is make the disease less dangerous if you catch it.

As for your 100% claim, I’m sorry that is nonsense. I’m not aware of any studies (doesn’t mean there aren’t any) into exposure vs infection rates.

Don’t forget as well that before vaccines the figure for serious illness, IF YOU CAUGHT COVID, was c.98% and that very very heavily skewed towards elderly and people with pre-existing conditions (no I am not saying that is ok, but it is true).

"If anyone is still actually falling for the BBCs Shit still then you are half the problem. It’s actually laughable, the news is like watching some clowns at the circus. If you knew what I knew then you’d be very worried with what’s coming

Well enlighten us, what is coming? More importantly tell us who is pulling the strings? One thing is pretty certain, if there were some grand global plan in action it’s certainly not run by Boris or any other elected world leader.

The Davos clique, the Elite, the World Economic Forum, the Rockefeller's, the Bill Gates' etc, ever heard of them? The 2% that own the wealth.

It's called Agenda 2030, the Great Reset, Build Back Better, The fourth Industrial Revolution.

Look it up.

Boris and many powerful government leaders are members and are the puppets for this elite.

The fiat currency is failing. So they need to reset to digital ID, digital currency, one Central Bank for full totalitarian control to implement the social credit system.

Can I ask you, will we be able to use the chip they put in us with the vaccine to pay in supermarkets instead of using a card or phone?

Did I say anything about a chip in a vaccine? Lose the condescending, belittling tone. I'm sure your mother taught you better."

This is a forum post is entitled "Fully Vaccinated" so a comment on the vaccine in relation to your post does not seem inappropriate. But perhaps my attempt at humour passed you by.

Truly, ever since the dawn of mankind and indeed throughout the animal kingdom there have always been those who have power over others. Since we don't live in a war torn country where a gang and an AK47 bring power, it is almost inevitable that money will buy power.

What the rich do with that power is the judgement we should make and in that respect Bill Gates, who you mentioned, has done a great deal of good in many parts of the world where most are loathed to work. On the other hand Jeff Bezos likes to propell people above the Kármán Line for fun.

Whatever the down sides of our current regime are every attempt in past history has taught us level, boss less, societies don't last long and soon one individual appears on top to rule the others; frequently in a tyranical way.

So this sheep will graze away in its little field, accepting the status quo as well as the inevitable advance of humanity, until it comes to be time to rage against the dieing of the light.

2%!! From a population of 8bn that’s a fk load of people to keep quiet on a global conspiracy.... So if world leaders are puppets are they aware of the others who pull the stings. I think you have seen one too many movie fella. Go on though, what’s the time scale? By what date will the reset have occurred? When we get there will you come back to admit the global “reset” conspiracy was nonsense. The world evolves and there are many puppeteers trying to steer its evolution.... Thats not the same as a there being a global organisation of evil super villains working towards a unified goal. Dominick Cummings, was he a puppeteer or just another puppet?

I apologize if I have generalized certain assumptions and directed them within my answer to you.

They are indeed meant for the general populous reading my comments with those opinions. I certainly don't intend to offend you personally by claiming you said something which you didn't. Apologies on my behalf. My thoughts tend to run a little wild and I want to get my argument across, particularly because of the more extreme oppositional views.

I do believe that many do see it that way - they have taken the risk, and should be rewarded. But I also think they see it that way because that is how it has been fed to them via the media.

I also think that there are those around who view the non vaccinated as unwashed, unclean and super spreaders because again, that is what they are being drip fed consciously and subconsciously continuously. And I take offense to the term unvaccinated. It literally sounds "unclean, unwashed" if you get my drift apart from the fact that it is a ridiculous term because you cannot "un" vaccinate someone!!! Whoever came up with it, well - I'll say no more.

I don't have hatred for anyone. I wouldn't waste that kind of emotional energy on strangers.

In the past I would have considered myself libertarian. As things are progressing I am having more extreme views admittedly.

The reason being that I believe you are being "vaccinated" for the Covid cert, which will lead to everyone's digital ID, digital currency, one Central Bank with a social credit system put in place - a progressive process to have in place in full force by 2030.

As I am seriously opposed to the above system, or communism - and, no, I'm definitely not a right wing fascist either - I believe that all of you who are getting vaccinated, are facilitating this system to be put in place.

I believe that we are being fed lies and manipulated figures where the disease is concerned. Constantly, continuously. If anything, I'd say the vaccine will exacerbate that - my opinion only.
