Either ask him to test, and sanitise his home.
Or don’t go.
Only you can ask these questions of him, and weigh up your own risks. We can’t do that for you. |

The answer stays the same, it’s up to YOU to weigh up the risks and make the decision. As a grown man, surely you don’t need a bunch of strangers to tell YOU what YOU should do in this situation. |

He could just as easily mug or steal your kidneys than pass on Covid, how have you assessed/dealt with those risks? |

I'm so happy that this topic is mentioned 'cos I wanted to tells my few thoughts that is a bit connected to this in different way.
Let's talk about STI it herpes ot other sexually related inf. that is even more hide sometimes and if you going to club do you asking personally everyone about that? Certainly not ..
Going in deeper .. disco or trance party in London .. do we thinking of that?
Or back in 2000's playing music in club and taking home or in the car that cute blue eyed one who wanted to appreciate that you let behind the decks or played her fav track ..
anyways thinking back and realising how many times I playing with my life 'cos not not take risk seriously ..
yes .. condom .. but do i pull it on my tongue too LOL.. where the only protection is a McDonald's bag on the head HAHA ..
What I mean with this few thoughts is that as much thinking about we are defenceless as more we programming our brain to being worried.
Well, certainly I taking precaution steps but talking about mask that not protect full nobody even mentioned gloves that 100% more important than mask
And .. finally after all if I have die then please between Four Woman hands
Thank you that I can share my thoughts
Wish health and happiness everyone |

"Is it safe to visit a house where the person who lives there has had no vaccination he's 21"
Visiting a house where someone lives and hasn't had a vaccine is just the same as visiting a house where someone lives who has had the vaccine.
People with vaccines are testing positive with covid more often and are also capable of spreading it.
Kind of like superspreaders, who think they are invincible lol |

Some sort of magical protective shield is it? lol
You are right in that most people took the vaccine because they want their freedom. Some of those don't really care about the effects it's had on a lot of people and take the risk themselves.
But having the vaccine doesn't stop you from getting covid and passing it on.....something that the vaccine marketing people missed out at the start.. |

Not true, it was always only declared as something like 70-80% effective, dependent on the vaccine. So it won’t stop 20-30% of people getting Covid but it will generally still help protect them from getting serious ill. |

Insist you both take a Lateral Flow Test before and after. PCR even better.
Make sure you both have your Test & Trace apps (and Bluetooth) on. Sanitise before and after the visit. Both wear masks throughout. Make sure all windows and doors are open all the time. Stay 2m apart at all times. There, you’ll be fine. . And definitely test before you go near your elderly parents. |

This is exactly the problem. Yes, he can pass on the virus if he is not vaccinated. Yes, he can pass on the virus if he is vaccinated but he is far less likely to. He is also less likely to die of it if he is vaccinated.
You have identified the risk - the higher risk that he can pass on a lethal virus to your parents and kill them, via you. Why would you even take a chance on it?

My figures were based on what I remembered from the vaccines’ introduction: the Jansen vaccine was 71% up to Pfizer 93%.
But even at 95%, 1 in 20 vaccinated people are not protected from Covid, so my comment still stands as it was.
As an aside, you need to look up the definition of ‘gaslighting’ and then look at how it applies to your response. |

So, by agreeing that Pfizer advised of up to 93% efficacy by your own memory, why would you state 'it was always only declared as something like 70-80% effective'. |

Because I looked it up and checked the figures after your response. Google is your friend . The exact figures don’t actually change my point; there I always an element of risk.
In simplistic terms, in a population of 52.5 million people where 50 million are double-vaccinated, 2.5 million of that 50 million are still vulnerable to the virus if it is 95% effective. The other 2.5 million unvaccinated are also vulnerable. So even with 95% vaccination you would expect the same number of people in each group to get ill. But obviously, having the vaccine will reduce your risk drastically.
Simplified statistics but hopefully it helps explain why you still see large numbers of vaccinated people getting Covid. |

Just ask him if he has even mild symptoms. Being unvaccinated and no symptoms at all he is more likely safe for you. I would’ve been more worried if he was vaccinated as these days there are a lot more cases in areas with a higher percentage of vaccinated people. Or just buy a lateral and ask him to test. If he is contagious there are about 80% chances that the test will pick it up. |

Generally not at risk really doesn't help the people who have had three shots and have died or have been injured by taking them, does it.
Anti-vaxxers are more like people who question the efficiency and efficacy of a shot that governments have had to change the definition of a vaccine so it can be included.
Sheople are people that take drugs without thinking of the possible side effects etc without an moral standing, unaware that the big pharma companies are making millions and hiding real data, whilst also filling the pockets of politicians and media.
Don't worry about it though...the fact that Pfizer paid a $2.9 billion dollar fine for Fraud over their marketing of a medication and GSK paid $3 billion for failing to disclose safety data for various medications.....

What’s officially written on their website and what they were saying in all the ‘news’ and social media was/is The vaccine stops you catching it and the Vaccine stops the spread… which is why so many people think that’s true.
They also failed to mention that some vaccines aren’t even approved and have had to have ‘emergency use authorisation’ to be given to people. How many people know this?? |

My opinion is irrelevant. Your reasoning is about as sensible as "it said in the advert my car would do 60mpg." Yes, it did. On a test track, without stopping or starting, without traffic jams and cold starts.
But that isn't real life. Nor has pretty much been anything said about the pandemic by this government who just pick the bits of science that they like and that they can sell to the Daily Mail.
Science changes, by experiment and analysis of results. That's what science is, not some carved in stone fairytale.
Those are best left to the people who voted for this clownshow in the first place.

Well, you need to consider the safety of BOTH parties, and the risks each pose to each other.
Since it has been said many times that being vaxxed does not mean you cannot still carry the virus, the person most at risk is the unvaccinated one (assuming the visitor is vaxxed).
However it's safer for all if neither meet.
And regardless of vax status, transmission happens between people so it's best not to meet at all to be honest. |
