They're not using Oxford AZ. I think they're using both Pfizer and Moderna but I'm not 100% sure, and there's a lot more Pfizer in the UK.

Studies have been done in the UK and elsewhere on mixing vaccines, and the results indicate it's safe. May even provide a better immune response than just one brand.

I've had a mix of vaccines (unknown and Pfizer) and the third (Pfizer) was the easiest side effect wise.

Hiya, I work in a GP surgery and the majority of boosters will be Pfizer also known as comirnaty or will be moderna, if you had az the first time around it is absolutely fine to have a booster of these, only in very rare cases will people have a booster of az and this will be for those with allergic reactions to an mRNA vaccine.

"Am down for booster next sat morn. Lets hope not too rough as out that night"

Make sure you have breakfast before you go, keep well hydrated during the day and take a couple of paracetamol before you have your jab. A lot of our early morning patients don't think about lining their stomachs before they come and can feel a bit woozy afterwards

They say not to have paracetemol first but after if you need them

Central

Pfizer and Moderna have been used here. The evidence for these as boosters, differing from or the same as, the initial doses, is very strong.

JVCI have just said is fine to mix now, interestingly we now believe some of the initial Pfizer data to be incorrect... Watch that space

When I booked my appointment (five weeks ago) they told me they were only going to be using Pfizer for the booster.

When I turned up today they told me they only had Moderna in stock.

First two jabs were AZ.
