Can you get a kit from chemist they are free xx"
Done my lateral flow test.. was positive so ordered pcr . .qho knows sometimes.pcr will be negative. |

You get lateral flow tests from the chemist but if you have symptoms you have to take a pcr test.
These are either done at a test centre or you get it in the post. |

Kids 6 and 9.. mother is negative... she currently testing lateral flow every day.. |

There has been 5 in the class of my 6 yr old go down with it and 4 parents.. some parents have kids negative.. its a knightmare |

It's very rare your positive lft is negative on PCR, it's usually other way round especially as you've taken it with symptoms which it's not good at doing.
Hopefully you'll just be a mild case like the vast majority. |

Ahh didn't read far enough down, your the exception to the rule, especially now we know covid is in the family, I'd consider doing your PCR again, it's possible your swab was done insufficiently. |

Ahh didn't read far enough down, your the exception to the rule, especially now we know covid is in the family, I'd consider doing your PCR again, it's possible your swab was done insufficiently."
Possible but doubt it.. Due to ongoing health issue I have Lateral flowed at least 5 times a week PCR'rd 3 times a month. I have grown quite fond of those little sticks...
Have had another negative PCR since and 4 negative Lateral Flows since they caught it. |
