Worked throughout but from home mostly. We've lost some family over the 18mths. Lots of our friends have been through really tough times. Life is getting back to normal slowly. I'm anticipating a tough winter ahead but hope I'm wrong |

Racked up debts being on 80% while my bills stayed at 100%, so still trying to catch up on that,back to work full time from october but been told there gona look again in january so could still lose my job,apart from grandson and a 95 yr old relative know no one else whos had covid,and judging from how peeps are where i live id say things been back to normal mostly since start of the year |

Back to almost normal.
On holiday and will get back to meets, clubs and parties next month.
First party early October.
Will still put on mask in shops etc and use hand sanitizer, soap and water.
Back to normal by Christmas, well maybe.  |

Slowly but surely. Worked all way through but the research I was working on for last 4 years is on hold as surgeries been cancelled due to pressure from covid. Looks like will cost me my PhD and wasted last 4 years as surgeries still cancelled but many others have been affected much worse so I'm not going to moan about it.
Thankful for the little things like being able to see friends and have a bit more normality. Missed simply having coffee with peeps |

Sadly as part of the forgotten about self employed, my business fell apart overnight last year, leaving me financially destroyed! I’m still in a terrible place financially, but desperately trying to get my business back on track, luckily I’m a stubborn ass with a positive attitude who’s just about still smiling haha |

The only difference for me now Is tests and wearing masks abroad, here in UAE you have to wear it everywhere even outside., when in the U.K. everything is back to how it was before, going out, meets, clubs , weekends away, working from home is all just the same. |

It's not the same and I'm adjusting slowly to how things will be, which suits me more than some mad rush.
In person studies curtailed, which was tough as I benefit from it more than tech driven teaching. |

I never stopped through most of it had about 6 weeks off in the full lockdown but apart from that I’ve worked the entire time every day even weekends at times to get the ever increasing work load done as people want more done to there homes while being off it’s been the same throughout the whole building trade where I am as there’s not enough trades to deal with the demand |

My life has changed very little due to the virus or lockdowns. Working in education, I attended work right through all of the lockdowns and was inconvenienced slightly by not being able to enjoy the social and fitness activities that I usually would.
The biggest impact for me was not being able to play with my bands, but I always knew that this was a temporary situation, and although I have lost money from not performing, it is minor.
I have however lost a couple of friends to the virus (as in killed by it).

I’ve worked through on reduced hours & pay. My team had been furloughed for the duration
I’ve lost 1 family member & I friend to covid last year
I’ve got a roof over my head & food on my table for myself & my kids (& loo roll)
I’m lucky that if I list my job I’ve enough in savings to last 4 years without work, but I’ve worked a lot to save that to give the kids a good start in life.
It’s been tough on so many out there

I have felt very low and some of my friends don’t socialise as much, I don’t think it will change soon especially with the threat of lockdowns hanging over us |

Some parts of my life have improved - I've used the time and space to work on things that needed doing.
I have no plans to return to "normal" any time soon, and I suspect that it won't be what it was like before. |

I feel like a lot of people have had a chance to enjoy the lockdowns to spend the time with their families (hunsbands, wifes, children etc.) On near enough full pay for extended times, so they gor a chance to improve their lives.
While others haven't stopped working throughout this whole thing.
Seeing how many powers the government has over people's freedoms, I feel it would be only fair to put some "furloughed" individuals to do some bin men's, shop assistants, cleaners etc roles for a week or three just to give some essential staff extra time off while they were working extra hard while third of the country have been sitting on their ass and another third have lost their livelihood for good.
Many people seem to want for people to have consequences over their choices.
Well how about a consequense for not playing a productive role in a society for over 18 months |

I have used lockdown productively. I have recognised my inner desire to help people. I have seen the impact of lockdown on people's health and studied extensively to be able to offer help to those closest and dearest to me. I have reduced negativity and negative people in my life. I cannot change the world, but I have changed me and in doing so been there for so many.
Happiness is infectious, negativity is toxic. Live your best life. |

Nothing much has changed in my life apart from wearing masks going into get my shopping and not being allowed into places where you need to show a vaccine pass. This is to change in Ireland inoct 22th when the need to show a pass will be removed however I don't really go out that much and anytime I did, I ventured to the pubs thst still allowed people in without a pass.
I just hope this is the starting of the end of covid restrictions and the young ones can get there lives back. Must have been awful for alot of them. |

It really scares me how it's mostly people who didn't have to do much and still got paid are the ones with some loudest voices advocating for more lockdowns.
Probably because they have all this spare time and little grasp on what's actually going on real world and how other people are affected by this whole thing. Financially, medically as well as mentally.

Every time I open property pal there's dozens of bars and restaurants for sale only in my area. So sad to see so many small, private businesses had to go under and can only imagine what it felt like for those who lost their livelihoods that way  |

Apart from 3 months furlough, I have worked all the way through it. My salary was topped up by the company.
The only thing I can't do now, is accept drinks from clients, or give them paperwork. So no real difference.
The only change was I got fat! |

Not everyone can work from home and rely on other businesses to be open, to make a living. That's why the whole thing of "we are all in this together" was always bull shit and ye could see through it right from the start. It was grand for people who could work from home and in there little bubble, for those that couldn't it really sucked. For businesses that had to close their doors 'which many will not be able to reopen' it has been a nightmare, but sure the likes of amazon and the likes increased their wealth big time and at the expense of those locked down.
There has been many of people's mental & physical health, lose of wages, which have led debt and people have lost their lives through these issues.
Lock downs don't work and for those that think they care about people so much, why not care about these cases??? |

Believe it or not, our life has actually got better because of covid; before we lived and worked in a hotel and now we have a forever home with totally different jobs. So that is a huge, huge change (I miss working with doughnut though) but with that our income has changed, yes we actually earn more money but we didn't have to pay any bills apart from our mobiles and debts, now we have everything to pay out for, meaning we actually have less "play money", that's taken some time to get used too but wouldn't change it.
