An unforeseen issue caused by the global demand for vaccines?

Could the conspiracy theorists (and antivaxxers who fall victims of such theories) be right about the microchip inside the vaccines? And if yes, for what other theories they could be right?

I just read this on CNN:

General Motors will shut production at most of its North American plants for a week or two starting next week as the worsening chip shortage takes another bite out of its plans.

GM and other automakers had hoped the chip shortage would be mostly behind them by now. But the surge in Covid cases, especially in Southeast Asia where many of the chip manufacturers are based, has actually created a worsening problem for automakers.

Supply chain issues due to the restrictions that covid had imposed.

You are not seriously suggesting that the global silicon chip crisis is caused by governments somehow putting them in vaccines are you?

The primary reason there is a shortage of silicon chips is that the supply chain got depleted due to production shutdowns.

Is this a serious question?!

Ford are experiencing a severe shortage in blinker fluid, due to the Covid vaccine having some of the same ingredients.

For the last time, nobody puts microchips in the vaccines. However if you ever have a tooth filled or get a tattoo...

You know a potato? Chips are sort of like finger shaped potato strips, often fried in oil and slathered in ketchup.

You're welcome

32 bit processor, built in wifi, 8 gigabytes of RAM and a 2 terabyte disk drive. It's the keyboard and screen that are the difficult bits to get in the syringe though...
