This was a big part of the reducing spread but seems to get less airtime than mask compliance.
When out and about i try to keep a decent space where I can ...
But will admit that I also break this rule when playing football. So guess I'm picking and choosing to suit my own selfish needs.

I keep a sensible distance away from others when possible (almost always is possible), but if people don't keep a distance from me I'm not concerned at all.
No masks. Ever. |

"I try but find the mask wearers have no idea about space."
You're not wrong. The looks they give too as they're fingering the loose fruit and veg and other fresh food and you dare to walk behind them waiting (at a distance) your turn. Cheers for not using the tongs provided love like I will be doing. Not sure your mask will protect your hands!! |

I tried until recently. But find It’s pointless now, as my two vaccines would be with the new variant. Unless the govt get it’s act together and start the new third update.
People at supermarkets just get closed to each other’s with no concern. Pubs, streets, tourist places etc… |

Yes. It's easy enough to do although I do miss out on visiting done of the towns & seaside areas as it's now getting uncomfortable to get around down here with so many visitors.
Newquay covid rate is now 1123.8 per 100,000 and the other half of the town 972.6 per 100,000, but all of Cornwall seems to be rising
Still doing a lot of click & collect for shopping but if I do need to go out, choose times when it'll be quieter, then it's easy to social distance. Face coverings whenever indoors in public. |

There are a lot of careless people around who are insensitive to the distances that people create for themselves. I do keep a distance, though it's important to understand that others who were previously in your current vicinity may have shed virus particles |

Not really, been to three football games in last few weeks where there has been upto 60,000 people. And there has been no distancing and no one seems to give a fig. Looked like people were nigh on licking each other at Wembley when England scored. Seems to be two distinct groups, those who have forgot all about lockdown etc totally, and those who think it never ended. Personally I never had a true lockdown as such, I've never isolated and have worked all the way through and even though we tried to keep distances, it wasn't practical and we never wore masks either. I suppose it's a bit like crossing a busy road or getting on a plane, there is an element of risk and danger and you get used to it and accept it. Get jabbed, be as careful as poss and start living again. |

"I've surprised myself and am pretty much back to normal now. I mask up on the train only, which is pointless because mostly empty still. "
Wow difference between North and South - packed most of the time on the trains in the North West. Very few wearing masks ![](/icons/s/eek.gif) |

I go the opposite direction to London which meant my trains were not always packed anyway. Plus I do cycle the 10 miles each way as often as I have the energy to lol |

I don't social distance.
On the way to work I board a ram-packed train. On the way home from work I board a ram-packed train.
It seems pants-on-head retarded to not handshake/hug family and friends when I meet up with them when I'm already getting very intimate with masses of the Great Unwashed when on the tube. |

I was and then got lapse, I absolutely hate cuddle and kisses when I leave a place but doughnut likes to do the rounds so I follow suit, as soon as we were "allowed" of course we started that process again, fast forward to two weeks ago, this led us into isolating due to mother in law and step son testing positive, so yes from now on I will be socially distancing once again (apart from at work because that is impossible in my kind of work) but with everyone else? They can stay at arms lengths. And I will also be choosy where I go from now on, because I simply can't afford to have anymore time off, due to my job and even though everyone else doesn't have to isolate if they get pinged or whatever, my job I have to isolate. So yes, I will be that person not going near another human outside of my household for a while longer.

I have always been the type that enjoys social distancing. I am somewhat crowd-phobic. Perhaps it’s not a bad thing after all.
Why do complete strangers want to huddle together like penguins anyway?! |
