Governments considering extending restrictions for another 4 weeks, due to the Delta variant.
Surely another case of the Government not stopping travel to and from India soon enough. Mass funeral pyre's, thousands
infected daily, Indian Government ministers entering the UK ,then having to isolate due possible virus contact.Blame this squarely on the UK Government |

Or maybe it’s due to most people thinking that the pandemic is over ,and not following the guidelines, how many people are wearing masks properly, if at all , social distancing has long gone etc etc , Boris and he’s gang cannot be responsible for every person in the uk , it’s all our responsibility to help protect each other and get this pandemic sorted |

Rishi Sunaks in-laws are the heads of one of Indias larget tech consulting companies.
The story goes that the borders remained open long enough for the wave of consultants to travel out of India and take positions in UK and US firms |

"We put Bangladesh and Pakistan on the red list when their figures were better than India's. India was kept off so trade deals could go ahead. "
The government has always said it would be a balance between social and economy just as the rest of the world is trying to balance |

a good story sells papers or internet ad space, but really if they normally do the tole offshore, it could have been just as easily still from india, or from a quarantine hotel, or they could have flown in much quicker … so really when you think about it it doesnt seem legit |
