Except they do know. Like the vaccine, if your door lock is compliant then there will be a Kitemark and the BS number stamped on it, just the way that the ingredients are listed clearly on the vaccine packs.

It's long out of date though. You'll know when locks are bought whether they have appropriate security standards - you'll not necessarily remember all of the abstract ID of standard numbers but will declare your lock standards type on home insurance applications. We could always retrieve the info on our doors, if we needed to but it's 99.99% likely that we won't. It's a given.
There are several approved vaccines here, each a little different from the others. Their constituents are declared and readily accessible. We can also find the details of their MHRA certification. Simple really. |

I'm not an expert on most things but dedicate understand and undertaking those things to people who are. . It's a weight off my shoulders.
Thankfully, information is typically now more readily accessible than ever before. If I get stuck trying to understand something, I may use Internet searches or others who know more than me.
There's been a lot of activity from antivax activists flooding the world with propaganda to scare and alarm people. Thankfully this pandemic has been accompanied by the greatest levels of scientific scrutiny on anything in our history, especially on the medicines and vaccines. There is an abundance of people with appropriate expertise who have our best interests at heart. |

Met a woman on Wednesday, she didn’t know anyone who had covid, but told me 400 people in our local area had died from the vaccine, a professor told her!

It's not rocket science. Both Pfizer and AZ have one active ingredient each. For Pfizer, it's the mRNA and for AZ the viral vector. The rest are formulating agents, either emulsifiers or inorganic salts that you'll find in other stuff including food products.
