And the fact the messaging has been clumsy at best. As for our way out... Get the community rates down. Control our borders. Have a process to deal with outbreaks. Adjust it to suit and as changes are needed. Long term... Improve underlying health and diet and vaccine programs. Improve communications and address the damage media can cause. And stop whining when things change because adaptability to what's in front of us is important. | |||

"lockdown"... Was it fuck. People still went to shop. Work in the shops. Build. Transport. Key workers. People still came in from overseas. The only people (there may have been a few other cohorts) who were genuinely locked down were kids and care home residents.the rest of us had our movements and behaviours restricted but people are deluded if it was anything like locked down. | |||
