It is likely to still be "a thing" for foriegn travel. Our government are not able to decide what requirements other countries have for entry.

Of course vaccine passports will still happen. They will be essential for ease of travel between countries in the foreseeable future

I'm fully jabbed and ineligible for any form of "proof".

It's almost like I'm being vaccinated for reasons other than holidays

I already work in a country where it is impossible to access certain areas without showing proof of having been vaccinated. So, in one form or another it has started....

Brighton

My prediction...

Over the next 6-9 mths despite a third wave (that will be smaller than previous waves) Covid will start to slip into everyday life mode in the same way flu has. We will have occasional outbreaks but not a full blown pandemic.

As that happens the need for any form of ID/vaccine proof (domestically) will decline and eventually be forgotten. People will get fed up of things like track & trace and businesses will become increasingly lax at enforcing it (already seeing this) and it will also drift away.

For int’l travel it will vary but eventually (on a much slower timescale) will also cease to be a requirement in future to have vaccine passports (places like Turkey already made that decision).

If you download the NHS App. (Not the COVID one) that'll show the dates of your jabs.

You have to take the two regular vaccines in order for the NHS app to show you've been vaccinated.

Your 4 jabs will mean you're extra protected

Haven't even downloaded the app. Don't give a shit.

I want to be vaccinated because I want to be vaccinated. Imagine that. Inconceivable
