I have always thought this virus was man made and am sure it's escaped..or perhaps been allowed to? Doesn't seem to have had as big an impact in China as it has the rest if the world. Coincidence? But as has already been said if it was scientist tweaking with a virus to weaponise it and it leaked out, what can we do. China is no pushover, they will just deny deny deny and we will still buy buy buy, because they make cheap stuff and we would never impose sanctions on mass. This obsession with peer reviewed papers is unhelpful, especially as very few people have the knowledge to interpret the papers correctly, or the time to view ALL the evidence for balance. However, there should be more evidence (according to the article) of a natural escape and that the research being done at Wuhan laboratory was incredibly dangerous. Now I'm not a virologist or even a scientist but to my layman's eye the article makes a good case that we at least need to be open to the idea that covid came from a lab escape. Nothing is ever simple, and yes, there's profit involved in vaccination. Capitalism is mucky and that's more or less unavoidable. But the process has been among the most scrutinised in the world - and scientists/the scientific method gain reputation by nitpicking each other's work. Could it all be a huge conspiracy? Sure, anything is possible. But it's a lot less likely than "a paper was written by people with stock options in a company that the paper promotes. The paper did talk about the virus being man made until peer review made them pull it" | |||
