Is this a competition to have the best varient between the counties best to stick to cricket maybe.
Seriously There are probably hundreds of varients all over the world but we are better at discovering them and maybe we are OTT about this |

' New ‘triple mutant’ variant under investigation as 49 cases found View 18 comments There have been 49 cases of the new variant
A new variant of coronavirus has been identified in Yorkshire, with 49 cases so far recorded. The so-called ‘triple mutant’ has three potentially problematic changes which are being monitored – though people have been advised ‘please don’t be alarmed’.
Dr Kevin Smith, of Public Health England, said: ‘We have identified a cluster of cases, mostly in Yorkshire, that have a series of mutations which is unusual and we are keeping an eye on that.’
Greg Fell, director of public health in Sheffield, said there is no evidence to suggest this strain is more infectious than other variants, or that it can evade vaccines.'

It's a blessing and a curse, this observation. We don't know what it means yet.
But it's reasons to keep being careful. |

It's what virus's do.
Every time it's passed on its slightly different from the 1 before it.
Stop believing this scare mongering.
There's thousands of variants out there. But they just do the same as all flu virus's do. Attack the weak and elderly. |
