A huge round of thanks to the vaccine volunteers, I have no idea where they have all come from or how much they are paid. A lot are working from makeshift facilities in car parks etc in all winds and weathers but are doing a fantastic job.

They're not being paid, and get a jab at the end of the day

Some are, there are staff who are on the bank via the trust but tbh after the government shat on them pay wise I'm relaxed if they choose to do this in their downtime..

Also the latter point is not accurate, it's only the case that if there are spare vaccinations and within a week or so of second jab due then yes to save chucking them away they are used..

The volunteers at our centre do an amazing job. As the job title suggests they receive no pay, they just want to do their bit to help. Things wouldn't run as smoothly as they do without them

all loved up

I think some are paid. I am not. I did get my vaccine a little earlier than I should but not by much.

I've enjoyed being part of this effort. Although it wouldn't work without all the medical personnel giving free time too.

All our volunteers were vaccinated as soon as they joined the team. As a vaccinator I'm paid as are all the other staff on the Bank. I guess different areas work in different ways x

There is another vaccine trial looking for volunteers if anyone is interested (and hasn't had a vaccine so far) - Valneva.

I think this thread is about volunteers vaccinating people, but yes.
