I had my second Pfizer Biontech jab in Belfast this morning; the reaction though not severe is very different to the first.
My upper left arm has been increasingly painful throughout the day an woke me 0100hours.
I specifically spoke to some to the staff in the RVH centre and they assured me that both jabs are identical.
Overall, I am very happy to have now received the complete Pfizer vaccination, and look forward to increased immunity.
If I experience a very severe reaction I will take appropriate action to address the issue.
The staff at the centre, which is extremely well managed, told me that they vaccinate 1,200 (twelve hundred) people per day. There are another six similar centres in NI in addition to the biggest Belfast centre at the Belfast SSE Arena. I think vaccinations also take place in pharmacies and in GP surgeries.
I am extraordinarily fortunate to live in an economy whose government was the first to sign contract with manufacturers. |

As far as I am aware, the first dose is smaller than the second... although that might depend on which one you have. |

From what I understand the reason you may get a stronger reaction to the second jab is that your bodies immune system is awear of the perceived virus threat due to antibodies from the first jab which means that it will react faster and somewhat more aggressively the second time as it is able to recognise the threat more easily this time |

I felt nothing at all with my first phizer jab. However the second one did sting a bit and my arm was, sore for a week and, at times it felt quite heavy when I tried to lift it. There was definately some difference between the two jabs. I did notice they put the second one in a bit lower down my arm |

I felt awful after the first dose (fever, chills, headache, painful breathing) and I had my second dose this morning. I'm feeling just as bad after the second |

As someone who is involved in giving the vaccines I can say honestly both jabs are exactly the same.
You may react more to the second as your body is already prepared to deal with it due to you having been exposed to it once already. |

" another case of the vaccine being worse than the virus, "
Personally speaking I’d have another thousand vaccinations rather than go through covid one more time.

Although I got my second jab last Tuesday, I can definitely tell that there is something action g on my system, causing headaches, that I normally never get, joint and muscle pain and fatigue.
Still, delighted to be fully vaccinated! |

I run a mass vaccination center in the NW.... The reaction to 1st and 2nd vaccinations are not uncommon, thank you for getting vaccinated and making everyone a little safer. |

Oh no, I can't believe people are still going to get it, I really don't want to suffer like this so maybe even never take one at all |

People will react differently from the vaccine because each person has different tolerance levels not everyone will suffer mild to severe and this will also be due to lifestyle some just sore shoulder due to the puncher wound from the needle in the muscle,I found best way to help here create as much movement as possible with this arm getting the shoulder able to be warm from movement this helps with circulation of the blood and also recovery. |
